AVOID AT ALL COSTS - YOU WILL LOOSE TIME MONEY AND PROPERTY
This was the worst service I have ever received from conveyancing solicitors.
They were clearly instructed to sell property and buy the property at the same time also deadline was set for b4 xmas 2024.
Not only they have failed with conveyancing but i do honestly believe they forgot that I was selling the property.
On my purchase property it took them 1month to raise enquiries and I had to chase up all the time. 2 month in sale progress Katie was not able to represent me and Neil took over. Only after 3.5month they got to me with additional enquiries regards sale property. Poor slow inefficient service. When complain was raised they answer was: ''It is not our fault that opposition solicitor is pedantic'' - Cleary after this sentence I realized that these guys are bunch of unprofessional who also said that my property was a complex sale where funny enough I bought this property my self 6years ago and for other solicitors it took 3.5month to sort sales docs.
In The end not only I lost time (6month) and money 2.8k (cause I still had to settle the bill) but also the property I desired to buy!!!!! Gladly because of their slow movements I didn't loose the buyer!!!

They are scam artists. They took my deposit and did nothing in return. I had to do everything myself. I had a medical emergency, so I had to cancel the purchase of the property. Now they tell them I owe them thousands of dollars for their service. What service? They are awful. I now won't deal with that realtor again as they recommended them. They're just not trustworthy, and you need a lawyer to be on your side. There are other solicitors that are so much better. I only went with them as they work with high rise buildings.

As much as they completed the task we left feeling that it wasn't value for money.Used this company twice before and they were ace.
Both of the previous tasks were a case of go sit in the office and tell them face to face what we wanted.
I think that our requirements were lost in translation between staff as the initial inquiry was done on the phone.
Could go on a lot more about this but will put it down to experience and it will not be allowed to happen again

Very disappointed with the level of service received. Poor communication from paralegal conveyancer, repeatedly having to chase up emails to confirm receipt. They failed to chase up seller's solicitors with any urgency, I ended up making more progress myself in one day than they had in two months! Also failed to notice a mistake on property deeds causing unnecessary delays, and did not order searches in the timescale they stated resulting in a huge delay to our completion date. Only chose these solicitors as they offered the lowest quote in the Plymouth area - huge mistake and would not recommend to anyone.

Really disappointed. I had use them before and had good service so I decided to use them again. I had to chase everything myself and am now left with a bill to remove items from the property I have purchased because they failed to pass on my wishes regarding the contract. They ignore e-mails, and even moreso after they have received their money from the transaction.

I have used Neil KEATT for purchasing/selling property since 2003. He and Louise (his Secretary) make the process so easy and stress free. I have no hesitation in recommending them. It is no surprise they were awarded 'Best in Devon'! Since my husband died I have had to learn the process of buying/selling - Neil made this easy to understand.

We were really pleased with the service we received with regards to buying a property in Cornwall with a flying freehold. Everything was explained to us as we went through the process and our queries were answered very quickly. Fees were reasonable and we would definitely use the firm again.

I would never use this company again. They missed deadlines and recommended a Barrister for a costing hearing. A complaint to the Legal Ombudsman concluded they gave a reasonable service. When engaging a solicitor I want a excellent, very good or even good, I want to believe they are protecting my best interests, reasonable is not good enough considering the amount they charged. I consider this company is more interested in extracting as much money from you rather than fighting your corner. I considered In paying expert rates, I should get an expert service, reasonable falls far short of that.

We were very, very pleased with the progress and attention to detail of our recent property transaction, given to us by Thompson & Jackson. We had to postpone our initial moving date of 30th March to 22nd June due to Covid 19 lockdown. It was a fraught time for everyone and all credit to Thompson & Jackson for also struggling (like pretty much every business), to get their services up and running as quickly as possible. Particular credit to Darron for his sensitivity and excellent communications with us. Would we recommend T&J to other people. Yes. Would we use them again in the future, (incl. other services they offer) - Yes.

Very slow and my email was not replied after six working days and I had to phone with no success. Sometimes it seems that our solicitor doesn't read our emails completely and have to repeat. Very disappointed.

My first three calls were responded with "someone will call you back" which never happened. My fourth call nearly two weeks later was told "sorry we have not got back to you but we do not have capacity to deal with your case as we are too busy, we recommend you try another solicitors". NOT IMPRESSED.

Our conveyancer Darron was thoroughly professional, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. He really did have our best interests at heart at all times and gave excellent support and guidance every step of our home buying journey. Would definitely recommend to anyone and if we ever move again will not go to anyone else. In fact everyone we met or spoke to at T and J were brilliant.
