I engaged with Trinity Law and a lady solicitor named R...... for assistance under the mental health act to appeal a section 2. I had to chase the solicitor and no proactive correspondence by hem took place. Very unprofessional for a legal firm.... I was subsequently released from section and had arranged to meet today to discuss my tribunal and discuss my other rights under the MHA 1983. I waited until 10 mins past our appointment time and then called the solicitor to ascertain their location and ETA. I spoke with R who said she'd decided there was no point in meeting as I had been released from sections. I had a number of items I still wished to discuss with her which she agreed verbally (and therefore a tort) and I confirmed digitally via email that I still required assistance with. A shambolic service and a disgrace to the profession. I would never recommend them and they should be struck of the list of approved solicitors for the NHS
