Worst experience
Was managed by a senior partner that was the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful character we have every come across within a client facing role.

Everyone at Wason Male &Wagland were diligent and professional.
The young man who I had the pleasure of working with was extremely helpful and efficient.
I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and understanding.
Being myself of advanced years and being invited the attend the office’s to sign documents which were explained and printed off for me made the whole operation relaxed and easy for me.
I was pleasantly surprised by my final fees as some extra work requested by me was not charged for.
I have dealt with many solicitors in the past Wason Male &Wagland and the team far surpassed all the others.
Many thanks to a firm I will highly recommend and return too.

Following my extremely successful divorce proceedings, under the care and guidance of Mark Jones. I then sold and purchased property through Wason Male and Wagland. Honestly, Mark was brilliant throughout, his knowledge, candour, expertise, calmness and humour was amazing. Although the paperwork was daunting, it was in fact straightforward easy to do when following Marks's guidance.

Lauren Giffard was super, efficient, timely, and professional at all times. Lauren swiftly and quickly dealt with the ex-husband, which ensured the sale of the matrimonial property could proceed without delay. Phone calls and emails were always responded to very quickly. I was updated at every stage of the process. Lauren was empathetic to the circumstance I was in, and was able to reassure me of the processes and convey this in plain English.

My purchase was led by Kay, and likewise Kay, worked with the same diligence and integrity as Lauren.

I am glad I used the same solicitors' company for my divorce and sale, although my ex no doubt wishes I hadn't.

All in all, my experience of Wason Male and Wagland has made getting divorced and moving something I'd quite happily do again! Just for the record - I'm not actually looking to get married or move again.

We completed the sale on our mother's property. Although our contact was very polite I feel that the level of service was not very good. We received several completion dates these came and went without any contact from our solicitors giving us any updates. On the day of completion, we never received any confirmation that the sale had completed or that the money had been transferred, although our agent had been told it completed. We left several messages during the day and no one returned these. On checking our mother's account later that evening no funds had been transferred. The next day we had to call again and leave messages to no avail. I contacted reception and finally, someone called me. I had to email my requirements, which was confirmation of the sum transferred and statement of accounts. We then had to reconfirm our bank detail before the transaction was made 24 hrs after the sale had completed. Therefore I am sorry but I can not recommend this firm

It was an absolute pleasure and our great fortune to have Pritpal handling both our house sale and purchase. He was a recommendation from a family member who also had an excellent experience. Pritpal’s attention to detail, while still ensuring matters proceed at the appropriate pace, is remarkable. He is always able to offer sound advice which was a great comfort during the usual stresses of house sales. I can recommend him without reservation.

I was represented in the sale of my property by Gabi Menkeviciute. She was at all times friendly and sympathetic to my anxiety about the sale while being efficient and totally professional. In her dealings with the buyer's solicitor, who had a somewhat aggressive approach, I felt that she was on my side throughout. I would certainly recommend both Gabi and Wason, Male & Wagland should the opportunity arise.

As part of a divorce I had mortgage needs that had to go through quickly and efficiently. Pritpal was able to manage this very well ensuring there was no delay, keeping on top of my case at all times. He was professional and understanding at a time that was difficult for me. Thanks for all your help Pritpal. I would recommend you should anybody I know need a conveyancing solicitor in the future.

Pritpal managed our sale and purchase with the utmost professional approach and even when he had to go on leave he ensured the matters were resourced appropriately. He went out of his way and did above and beyond what I would expect is typically expected.
If Pritpal was not acting for us I am certain our sale and purchase would have fallen through, as he kept pushing to get matters resolved to get us to a successful completion.

Emma who I dealt with was outstanding, very considerate towards my elderly dad and she could have been be more patient and kind spending the time to explain everything so that he fully understood. The charge was in my view extremely competitive I now live in the East Midlands and paid considerably more for my own will so I was more than pleasantly surprised at the costs. I would recommend Emma without hesitation

Highly recommended- as first time buyers we were handled very well. We were informed along at every stage at a high standard and with great competence. For every question that we had, they were very quick to reply to our queries. A special mention goes out to Pritpal and Gabi, who both made the process simple and stress free.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Richard Male has dragged our Grandfather's will out for over 10 years now and still no resolution. The new owners now also avoid all of our emails about the matter, just like if they ignore it long enough it will go away. This company is a joke and by reading everyone else's reviews, it seems like we are not the only ones being stuffed around. I am sure there is more reputable companys around. Don't waste your time here if you want results.

We have been dealing with a matter of a family members will for almost 10 years now and it is still unresolved and they have taken our money due to their incompetence. No reply from them to our booking system or to messages and emails in hope that it will go away. They made a massive mistake and we have to deal with it and take a loss. Do not use this company if you would like a job done properly.

Absolute shambles of a company. Mr Male who I understand is the owner has no clue how to manage relationships with clients, takes weeks to reply to a single email. The stress this joke of a company has caused is difficult to explain. I cannot stress how much people should avoid this company. I just hope people do their due-diligence and read reviews online prior to using the company. They are an absolute disgrace and should not be allowed to provide a legal service as they have no idea what they are doing.

I am relieved to see that this company which has been badly led for many years now has at last been taken over by another practice. My experience with them of late has been an absolute disaster. I could never have recommended them to anyone but maybe now with modern guidance .... who knows ?

What has happened to Male and Wagland? We have lived in Potters Bar for nearly 50 years and always used them very happily for legal advice. 15 months ago I approached them again. I have found some consolation in reading other reviews and realising that I am not the only one to be treated with contempt by this company. It's obviously nothing personal, it's just the way they conduct their business these days. I, too, found it very difficult to speak to anyone and it would take weeks for emails and letters to be answered, if at all. I eventually made a Formal Complaint which, although acknowledged, was not responded to in the time allowed so I referred the matter to the Legal Ombudsman who, after 4 months, managed to squeeze an apology out of Male and Wagland. My advice? Don't touch this company with a barge pole! Very sad! This used to be a good company.

Absolutely appalling. Rude staff, arrogant lawyers and the firm should be closed down. You can never get hold of your lawyer and messages are never passed on. Wasted a lot of time and money using this firm who will be reported for their bad practice

The worst solicitor's practice I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. A rude arrogant company with appalling standards of service. I very much hope to pursue a case against them with the Legal Ombudsman for their poor standards of service.

Crap, just crap. Staff are rude (when you actually get to speak to anyone) and they do not seem to know what the hell they are doing. Outdated and old fashioned and they do not have any idea about modern processes
