I had an accident in 2020 fully insured by admiral. I called who I thought was my insurance but somehow ended up on the phone to Winn solicitors apparently they have been taking admiral calls. I thought the whole time I was talking to admiral and it’s only when Winn asked for my bank details I said- you are my insurer you have them. That’s when they revealed who they were. I was the victim, my car was hit and the other driver admitted liability. I even called the police and had a police statement. Now Winn are trying to take me to court for thousands of pounds saying I did not cooperate as I would not give my bank details over. I have reported them to the SRA who are completing an investigation. I have paperwork from admiral showing that they did not request Winn to act on their behalf and was advised by them not to have any further contact. This was in 2020 now they are saying I owe £4K despite being fully insured with admiral and being the victim. I have the police statements and the other driver fled the scenes. I have had two years of stress now and will be taking Winn to court for compensation for how they have treated me! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they signed my form on my behalf which I did not authorise and then lied and said I did it electronically. LIARS, if I could give 0 stars I would
