Absolutely useless communication is dire pressure to put a personal injury claim in 5k to fix a rear bumper and light tried to take the courtesy car off me 2 days before my car was ready and then expected me to make my own way 20+ miles to pick my car up! AVOID at all costs (make sure when you report your accident that you are speaking to your INSURANCE as these somehow are infiltrating the phone calls!!!!!!)

My car was hot by another and my insurance company told me to use winn solicitors,after the first phonecall my case handler went on leave so I had at least 4 others,I attended a medical appointment at a cost of £17 as I wasn't able to drive there,the back light bulbs of my car had been physically smashed by the mechanics that had repaired the bodywork so I had to pay a further charge for new bulbs,I paid for travel to and from all of the physio appointments and have over £100 of out of pocket expenses for an accident that wasn't my fault, I was awarded £390 compensation after winn had been paid but have since been told by the benefits office it's being taken from my benefits so I am totally out of pocket,winn still will gain financially from my accident but unfortunately I am well out of pocket,do not use these sharks .

Absolute shower of sxxt. Recovered my vehicle then left me stranded with a load of tools, ladders and equipment.
It’s now been a week since my vehicle was taken to a “secure compound” and it’s still not been looked at.
The “secure compound” is just an empty car park next to a recovery company were it’s simply left abandoned completely unattended with the security gate wide open with no one to be seen. On two occasions this week alone I have driven in (unmarked vehicle) and driven straight up to my vehicle with no challenge from anyone.
I was driven into by another vehicle (no personal injury claim) and have a “no fault” claim, yet they’re demanding access to all my bank accounts and statements. As a company director this will not be happening.
They have also sent me documentation with the Whitness’s name and full address on. This is a clear breach of data protection. They have also given my the offending drivers insurance details.
If this is not dealt with in a satisfactory manner by the end of next week then I will be instructing my own legal team and reporting the above to the insurance ombudsman.

Avoid this company at all costs. As with many of the other 1 star reviews, it is clear that they have bulked up their own 5 star reviews and this company are in fact terrible at what they do. Awful communication, lies, several different case handlers and in the end an attempt to bill myself and two witnesses for the services so far. This company will try to bully you to pay for their mistakes, fortunately with the help of a different firm and advice from the SRA the matter is being dealt with. 16 months wasted with an email trail of the terrible communication and mistakes made by Winn. The last case handler we had was a trainee “Bethany” who made several statements that were misleading and unhelpful before months later advising me that they wouldn’t pursue my claim.
My claim was a straight forward case where a third party collided in the back of me at traffic lights admitting liability at the scene. Winn wrote to me confirming that the third party had accepted liability and then 16 months on they inform us that our claim is too much of a risk and we must pay their fees. Fees that include £1000s for things like phone calls there is no record of.
The list of problems that I've encountered with Winn is lengthy including; lack of representation, lost copies of paperwork leading to myself and two witnesses having to fill everything in twice losing several months of time on this with no explanation or apology, misleading letters, months to respond to calls and emails, they have ignored their own vehicle assessors, medical professionals and argued with me on liability that had previously been accepted based on photographs sent of the third parties car months later. Either they are in some way involved with the third parties legal team or are just incompetent.
Total bogus claims company
Please be careful especially if you have already instructed Winn to work on your behalf. Seek legal advice elsewhere and don’t be fooled by the assumed bogus reviews. I should have recognised the early red flags with this firm but given such a straight forward case I assumed eventually they would resolve it as promised. The ending for them will be an investigation and I will be happy to challenge any further bills they may send in court. Save yourself the headache!

Over 3 years of mishaps, not listening, and thinking they above the law. Had enough now, and will be sending a complaint in to Winns as required. And whatever the response good or bad they will be reported to the legal ombudsman. Tried to talk numerous times to sort things out, supervisors etc but they are just as bad, and make it up as they go along. Lucky i have kept all correspondence and emails of the case to pass on to the ombudsman. I am sure the ombudsman will request tapes and transcripts of the hearing, this will prove exactly what was said, and the glaring errors by Winn's. Then they will have to answer to The legal ombudsman who wont put up with lies. If you are looking for a genuine company to represent you, please consider looking elsewhere.

Really bad service solicitor could have won case if he asked for tacho graph but didn't even think of it I lost the case now my daughter who was 15 at the time is getting billed for 1970.00.. Please read small print before you make any kind of declaration on any of their paperwork otherwise they will have you right where they want and you can't do anything about it, more so they don't want to help in anyway just respond to bad views online to make themselves look good but won't do anything for you. Winn solicitors are completely incompetent and ruthless.

I would not recommend this solicitor to anyone pursuing a Peronal Injury claim (none RTA related). I never met or spoke to anyone regarding the full extent of my accident or injuries. I had to contact them for updates and to find out how my case was progressing, then to receive a letter to advise they were closing my case without discussing the outcome with me or asking how I wished to proceed? Information they received from 3rd party was incorrect including my address. Very disappointing. Gave 2 stars for little work they did.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Alarm bells should ring for any company that asks you to review them after the initial consultation! I was in an accident in May, video evidence of the incident, open/shut case right? nope! constantly chasing for updates, rude customer services, case past from one person to the next. ask to speak to your case handler no calls back, no replies to your emails, almost felt I ran the case as I had to push them all the way for next steps to be taken. and to top it all off they went against my instructions and accepted an offer which I told them not to do.

I heard about Winns on the radio, after being a passenger involved in a minor bump, Winns where amazing at getting me seen by a physiotherapist within the week and this really helped me with my road to recovery. Every time I spoke to someone at Winns they were all very friendly and knowledgeable which made me feel at ease.
Istiaq my case handler was amazing at dealing with my claim and kept me very well informed with its progress and was always a pleasure to deal with explaining everything very clearly to me. Whilst on his holiday Amber another case handler looked after me and also kept me very well informed and was always very positive when talking to me.

Very disappointed with the service received.
Had a non fault accident and rather than claiming through my car insurance and a claim going on file I was advised by my father (who had used them before) to use Winns. Big mistake! All good at first untill my insurance company contacted me to say that a claim had been logged and my no claims bonus removed ?? I called Winns to be told that they must inform them and have, then went on to tell me they have nothing to do with how my insurance company use that info.
This has cost me hundreds of pounds on my renewal and if i had gone through my insurance as a none fault it would have been cheaper and easier in the long run.
This has caused me nothing but aggravation and headache so for those who think Winns first, you may want to rethink and stay with your insurance company

I had an accident at work that was not my fault and decided to contact winns Solictors to enquire about compensation. My case was not by anymeans straight forward or easy to work out, it was a rather complicated matter.
My case had taken a couple of years to come to conclusion because of the above mentioned that my case was not straight forward at all, infact it was rather complicated. Winns were there the entire time i had any questions, they were intouch with me immediatly if there were any additional details needed, and they are very helpful when i did not understand somthing.
I was required to attend 3 medical appointments which Winns kindly took the time to arrange with my needs in mind. Over a long battle between myself - Winns and my previous employer I was notified that my case had been settled in my favour.
Overall i am extremely happy with Winn Solicitors, each and every individual who handled my claim and the final outcome. I would certainly recommend Winns to others who have been involved in an accident which was not their fault.
They are very hard working people that give you time and attention when its needed. Congratulations Winns Solicitors on winning my case and many thanks.

Communications are almost none existing ,reception staff taking phone calls are rude and have no people skills!
I have been made to feel like I was fighting winns instead of them working and fighting for me!

A complete waste of time and effort from start to finish
Didn't take information into account and eventually said the case had become too complicated, after 7 months
Our own insurance company then dealt with the case successfully in a couple of weeks
So why bother with these unprofessional idiots ?
Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND phoning these at all !!!

An endless catalogue of mistakes, misleading information, missed or over looked correspondence from the other parties not to mention over 17 months lost through what is undoubtedly lack of experience by the appointed Solicitor in dealing with a simple RTA claim.
After all this time I find my self £3,500 out of pocket and the case is too be handed over to the NIB which at best a positive result will be doubtful.
I am now considering taking this to the legal service ombudsman
