The service I took by Karen Agnew Griffith was terrible. She charged me thousands of pounds with no outcome. My first language is not English and I was desperate as a mother trying to protect her children from an abusive father. She took advantage of my situation and charged me for unnecessary work. I would not recommend her at all.

I wouldn't recommend using Woolley and Co.
Very expensive with lots of unnecessary emails. I've been left wondering which party benefited most from me choosing to use Woolley and Co. Errors made during final financial proceedings left me out of pocket.
and there complaints procedure is a joke. Wishing I used a different firm.

The whole divorce proceeding was made worse by using Wooley and Co Ltd. Only point of contact is by email which has a sporadic reply time, sometimes a week, not what you expect when you are being charged for a reply. Even worse if your solicitor decides to call you off their own back and you get charged five times as much.
I had to suspend divorce proceedings as I had been diagnosed with cancer, Wooley and Co fabricated a bill for over £2k. I’m guessing that they had to milk the cash cow while they could. I am not divorced, have an arduous journey to recover my health, and so far, Wooley and Co have charged over £6000, if I wasn’t paying the bill it would be almost laughable.
Use Wooley and Co at your own peril!

Woolley and co solicitor Judith Buckland represented my wife in our divorce. The highly aggressive adversarial approach benefited no one other than the solicitors. Solicitors costs effectively wiped out all matrimonial finances. My ex wife informs me that much of the deception and aggressive litigation tactics were a result of her following her solicitors advice. Our two children are now in my sole care and have some resentment issues regarding their mother and her behaviour. Solicitors have no incentive to resolve matters amicably and despite entreaties by CAFCAS and the children's court appointed guardian to tone down the adversarial approach, they continued unabashed. Perhaps the gravy train is just too tempting for some characters.
Divorce is an emotional and vulnerable time. Please please please be wary of aggressive and greedy lawyers. They are not ,repeat not on your side and will do much more harm than good. Seek out mediation through the mediation service. Talk and listen. Avoid this mob if you value your sanity, your savings and the sanctity of your family.

Divorce went smoothly and fast. However I paid £500 for a document that was supposedly created but never received by either party. They won’t refund this cost since they claim the cost covers the document being drafted up. Even though they were chased twice for the document that no one ever saw, and they didn’t feel to check why.

I used Woolley and Co (Cardiff Office) for a family matter (Kathryn McTaggart). You can never get through to Kathryn directly, but, to be fair, she was pretty good at returning calls within a reasonable time. She was experienced enough and the case proceeded at the usual pace for these kinds of matters (a snail's pace).

I have no real complaint about the legal services (although perhaps Kathryn was tactically naive) - my complaint is as to customer service and liaising as to costs. You would have thought that, these days, costs could be monitored much more effectively, and kept under control.

Their internal complaints procedure was reasonably quick, and did result in a small compensatory offer, which i refused. After the refusal, the offer was decreased, which seemed fantastically petulant. I received a cheque, which i shall not be cashing.

Also Andrew, thank you for taking care of T. at court , she told me you were very nice to her, though i didnt expect anything different from you, such a gentleman, kind, understanding & considerate.
