There was consistency in replies to my e-mail queries. All solicitors I dealt with were knowledgeable in their field of expertise. I will be happy to use their services again.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was painful if I had to choose one adjective. I changed solicitors 3 times through a 4 month process and did so much chasing and clarifying (I was a first time buyer so many terms / process were not familiar to me) that I thought I was more a collaborator than client or customer.

The first solicitor forgot things, was slow, and sent over one set of documents with no commentary in the first 6 weeks. I then found out through chasing things up I had a new solicitor because the first left / got fired / not sure. I thought great, things will get better. Nope.

The second seemed to be a contractor. Worse than the first; disorganised and uncommunicative, though in fairness I also started realising that my vendors solicitor was worse. Despite this, I was mortified when told there would be a 3rd solicitor a few weeks later.

All I can say is, thank God there was!! The 3rd solicitor is the only reason (along with the friendly assistant(s) who did their best to help) I am giving 3 stars. Vursha was such a pleasure to work with. She was communicative and really pulled through and delivered despite everything. I would highly recommended working with her in particular, and if I move house again I would actually go back to Amphlett Lissimore if Vursha was still there.

Of course, I can only give a review based on my experience. I know there were issues due to COVID but the lack of communication and slowness was what made the experience with the first 2 solicitors the worst. In the end I was glad I went with Amphlett Lissimore, but only because of Vursha. Thank you!
