I visited the office on a Saturday with the urgent need to have some papers attested by a Commissioner of Oath.

When I telephone Ashwood Solicitors, I spoke with Masoud, who made the exception to open up the office on a Saturday so he could help me.

Masoud went above and beyond with opening up the office on the day that it was closed, and then attesting my documents on such short notice.

I was also very pleased with the hospitality and kindness.

I called up and spoke to Masoud about my leasehold property that I am having trouble with. Although it isn’t something they specialised in, Masoud was very helpful and brought a lot to light (very knowledgeable). In fairness pretty much gave me the answers I needed and helped to point me in the right direction. Masoud was very polite and unlike a lot of lawyer firms I have been in contact with, actually wanted to help. That to me speaks volumes! Thank you Masoud I would highly recommend your services to anyone.

When I rang Ashwood solicitors, I spoke to Masoud, he was the only solicitors that give me the advice to set me in the right direction after been fobbed of, by other firms, 'because my case is so complicated'. Masoud had, the diligencey to give me the correct legality. After been given the run around of organisations that we meant to believe is the 'right way.' Masoud was my light in my darkest hour. I 100% recommend him for being direct, honest, professional.

Great experience with Masoud who quickly and clearly gave excellent advice to solve a tenancy issue with landlord, he clearly explained my legal standpoint and how to action this, then advice on further steps could take with if needed. Luckily this wasn’t needed and managed to resolve my issue the same day after the advice.

I haven’t used a solicitors before but given the friendly, quick and professional interaction I would highly recommend to anyone, also personally would go with them in the future.

I called Ashood Solicitors regarding family law.
I was called back on the same evening, even though it was outside office hours.
I spoke with gentleman called Masoud. We had an intensive conversation and I was given some very useful information and I was advised on what the next steps should be. I was then sent all of my options in writing so that I can take my time to decide on how I want to proceed. All of this was free of charge.
Overall I am very happy and grateful for all of the guidance and options I was given and will be preceding with Mr Masoud and Ashwood Solicitors.

Masoud was fantastic in terms of giving me advice the other day. I contacted him for some general advice as I needed pointing in the right direction. He was outstanding. He engaged in a 40 minute phone call with me and gave me plenty of useful legal advice FREE of charge. He was friendly, understanding and likeable. I only wish I could have had him as my solicitor. He did not specialise in my area, but he recommended to me another solicitor who could help me which was great. Thanks for your help Masoud.

After no joy from other solicitors, I decided to give Ashton solicitor a call and spoke to Masoud. Even though it was something they not dealt with he still gave a valuable advice which pointed me in the right direction.
He also went out of his way to find and provide me with the list of all the relevant solicitors to my query.
I found Masoud very approachable , friendly with a brilliant matching humour to cheer anyone up!

Honestly, I don't even know where to start. I've been in a difficult situation with my visa and I decided to contact Ashwood Solicitors simply because of their reviews.

First of all, there's no such thing as a free intial consultation as mentioned on their website. They will literally take your details and ask you to schedule a call with the lawyer. The charge is £180 including VAT for one hour.

Once the time was decided, the immigration lawyer, Jwameer, called me but 20 minutes later than the scheduled time. Although he apologised, I still lost half an hour of work because of this unprofessional behaviour.

Now when I start to speak to him about my situation, from the beginning, it seemed like he was never interested in taking me as a client.

The most disappointing part is that Jwameer literally gave me the answers that you can find on Google. Plus I already knew what he was suggesting me.

When I told him that the options he gave me weren't helpful, he simply said that "Then you have to go back to your country".

I was shocked to see such kind of behaviour from their side as it is completely opposite of what their reviews say. And apparently, this was supposed to be the "Top rated Law Firm" of Manchester. I literally felt so stupid during the conversation that I paid £180 to someone who was giving me answers off Google or Gov.co.uk. Plus the call lasted for less than 15 minutes.

A week later, I consulted another law firm with the same issue and they charged me 1/6 of Ashwood Solicitors and gave me a solution within 5 minutes!

That's why you contact a lawyer. For them to find you a solution that a layman isn't aware of. Unlike Ashwood Solicitors who gave me answers I found myself on the Internet. I am so unhappy with the kind of service I received from this law firm.

I strongly recommend. One of the few solicitor who contacted me immediately after submitting the inquiry. My case is extremely complicated and many law firms either did not respond to my inquiry or simply refused to help me. Masoud is very communicative gentleman matter-of-fact, polite and cares about details, he clearly presented me the situation I am currently in. Affordable costs.

I cold called Ashwood Solicitors to get advice on how to reclaim money from a shop that hadn’t supplied goods which I had bought and paid for fully. Masaoud was a great help, he called me back straightaway and explained the steps I needed to take before I took up a legal challenge. Listened and walked me through the steps going forward if I needed to get help from them. Explained the fees clearly and I was impressed with the time I was given, advice and clarity of the process. I have been calling around looking for a notary when I was recommended to Ashwood Solicitors. I was a bit nervous at first because I bought my 4 Yr old special needs daughter with me. You guys made thing so easy, my nerves get carm right away. Everyone at the office was so welcoming. I got my documents sorted and was out in no time. Plus I was not over charged. I will be using you guys again again. Thanks alot!

Fast service, I called up and spoke to Masoud within 5 minutes and he gave me really good advice when other solicitors were asking for £1000 to start work on my case, Masoud gave me some advice that would mean I could potentially sort my issue out without having to spend a penny. He gave me all the different options on what I could do and all the different eventuality’s and what that would look like for me. I was really stressed when I got on the phone to him and he calmed me down and talked me through the whole situation in a way I understood and I would definitely recommend him again.

The firm provided great customer service and advice on my enquiry. They were able to provide insight into the reality of the issue I am facing as well as different solutions available to me. Most importantly, I appreciate the firm’s honesty as to whether they were able to help or not, and they set clear expectations of what could and could not be done by them, which is something that most firms do not discuss and set clear when first approached. I spoke with Masoud about a property issue- an issue I’ve had for quite some time. He was so professional and helpful- more helpful than any other solicitors I’ve asked for advice. He was happy to spend the time explaining things to me and after our conversation, I felt more confident about how to deal with the issue and MUCH clearer on the steps I could take. I would definitely use this firm should I need them in the future and would highly recommend, it’s no wonder they have so many good reviews.

It was nice to have an initial consultation with the MD of the the firm. The gentleman was honest, experienced and knowledgable. I was having difficulties in finding the solution of my queries. He helped me to opt the most suitable path to resolve the matter. I shall certainly recommend this company to seek advise for any legal matter.
If I encounter any further issue in future, I shall definitely contact them again.

Great service with free sincere advice for around 15 minutes. Solicitor gave me different options on a housing matter which was not only easy to follow but has saved me from spending huge amounts of money etc...highly recommended
