Almost a year after buying my new house through Leeds Day, I have no paperwork relating to my purchase, no confirmation that my house is registered with Land Registery and my emails since Christmas have been ignored. I would strongly recommend using an alternative company for house purchasing in particular.

I have had the need to use conveyancing services 4 times and most recently selected Leeds Day. They were by far superior to any I have used previously. I prefer to use a local law firm rather than online conveyancing to receive a more professional, knowledgeable and personal service and Leeds Day, in particular Andria, certainly exceeded my expectations.
There were no hidden or unexpected costs, the bill was in accordance with the quote. I was provided with an online portal, telephone number and email to ensure I could remain in contact throughout the process.
Andria & her colleagues were always on top of the purchase & sale ensuring other parties in the chain were meeting deadlines.
When an issue arose (as frequently does in conveyancing) Leeds Day remained ahead of everything finding solutions and advising next steps to other conveyancers in the chain.
Thank you Leeds Day I will definitely use you in the future!

We have used Leeds Day over the years for dealing with trusts, wills and property due to a family member using them before us and we had to use them. On each occasion we had to do most of the work, never got the paperwork on time when asked and they almost lost us the sale of a flat due to their incompetence, lack of professionalism and high turnover of staff. They hugely overcharged us and we keep receiving invoices that we have already paid for. Currently they are unresponsive with tax affairs that we have urgently asked for. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We have all the paperwork, emails and letters to prove that this has been the case. A dreadful service and we will never use them again.

Overall the service was very poor. This was mainly due to lack of communication from Leeds Day. I spoke to over 6 different people over 6 months which was the time it took to complete sale of my flat. The main contacts at the firm constantly have an out of office notification on their email which provides you an alternative email contact that also happens to be out of office. Even to the point when the buyers solicitor called the firm to exchange contract she was told no one could attend to her. I ended up having to chase up so many things myself. At the end of it all I paid way more than I expected (definitely more than the service I received deserved) and the invoice contains unhelpful billing information which I could not get anyone at the firm to explain till today. If you like a professional and courteous service where they actually realise that you are paying for the service and it is not free, then don't use Leeds Day.

St Ives Branch - Originally advice was pretty good. However as the case continued it became clear I was being overcharged. Fees ended up Â£1k more than advised, charged twice for something that wasn't done and had to chase to get it refunded.

If I ever again find that the other party are being conveyanced by this shower I will drop out immediately....they managed to make a chain free cash purchase last four months by their lack of response and then to cap it all did not have a solicitor available to 'sign the file off' on exchange day.

Leeds Day failed to notice that your client did not even have the right to sell the property (deceased estate) and it was only when my solicitors received the pack that it was noticed.
I can forgive the EA (Taylors) for a lack of due diligence but it should never have got across your desk.
