Despite an initial positive first conversation I now realise they were over selling the probability of having my charges dropped or reducing the charges. As neither turned out to be an option at my trial.
After paying the initial fee I never spoke with the solicitor again and the most frequent contact I had was when they were chasing payment.
The outcome of my case was the same as if I had used the duty solicitor the court provides. I would actively discourage anyone from engaging with this firm as they do not present you with enough information to make an informed decision - they seem more interested in securing your cash than they do a good outcome.

My encounters with solicitors have been numerous, but none have been as disappointing as my experience with MAJ. Conor, the individual I dealt with, is a compulsive liar, and I urge you not to trust anything he says over the phone. He failed to show up for the hearing, and the representative he sent, James, was ill-prepared and attempted to persuade me to adjourn the case. This issue should have been sorted out by Conor before accepting payment and putting James in a difficult position. When I inquired about additional charges for the service, James informed me that it would cost another fixed rate of £1800 per day. We only had 10 minutes to make a decision, and ultimately I had to plead guilty, which was not the result I had anticipated.

Upon sharing my concerns with Conor via email and discussing them with James, Conor evaded responsibility and refused to provide a refund. I caution against engaging with this firm. They are active on social media, where Conor appears to be promoting himself as an exceptional educator, but it is all a ruse to deceive individuals into parting with their money. I suggest reporting their social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, as they resort to purchasing fake reviews to overshadow genuine one-star feedback. It would not be surprising if they attempt to refute this message to conceal their deceitful practices. Despite the stress they caused me, I requested a partial refund, a reasonable request that a professional company would consider. However, MAJ proved themselves to be anything but professional. They are a group of liars who will not succeed if they continue down this path.

Ultimately, karma will catch up to them, and I wonder how they can sleep at night knowing the harm they have caused. They should be ashamed of their actions.

Where do i start, if you have any sense do not go to this firm for anything. You will be filled with false promises and lies and be out of pocket 1000s. Don’t believe the other review sites where their reviews are good. Any reviews that are bad Conor will state they are defamatory, when they simply state the truth. This why their google and trust pilot is so low.

This law firm is an utter disgrace, and I feel compelled to warn others against falling into their deceptive web. It's glaringly evident that they operate with questionable ethics. Take heed of the warning signs, and explore alternative legal avenues. Trust me, you'd be wise to steer clear of Maj Law.

I had a truly terrible experience with Maj Law in the UK. This law firm is absolutely appalling, and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of them. It's evident that they are engaged in scamming individuals. Just have a look at their one-star reviews, which are all genuine, despite their false claims of fake reviews. If they can lie about something as fundamental as their reviews, what else are they capable of deceiving you about?

One glaring red flag is their pattern of either one-star or five-star reviews, which is a clear indication of manipulation. They resort to hiring a fake five-star review company to drown out the negative feedback. They prey on desperate individuals who are trying to keep their licences but have little chance of success. They will gladly take your hard-earned money, promising the world, but in reality, they provide basic representation, often sending inexperienced subcontractors who have no knowledge of your case.

I encourage everyone to read the news articles about them, including the judge's statement recommending reporting them to the solicitors regulatory authority. Maj Law is not to be trusted. They will make you false promises and drain over £10,000 from you for subpar representation. Don't fall for their marketing ploys, such as fixed fees, which eventually lead to endless demands for more money. They even had a supposed lawyer vouch for them, further deceiving people into believing they can be trusted.

Their reviews are a joke, and it's painfully obvious that they are manipulating them. If Maj Law tries to discredit this review or claim they haven't dealt with me, rest assured, I will make it my mission to expose their lies and the way they scam people with their fake reviews. Don't be fooled by their tactics; you deserve better representation than what Maj Law offers.

I also find it rather ironic how Maj Law attempts to defend itself against dissatisfied clients by emphasising the frequency of communication. However, it's imperative to clarify that the issue isn't merely the quantity of interactions; it's the concerning pattern of manipulative practices during these communications, where accurate legal advice is consistently supplanted by deceptive tactics.

Maj Law's conduct in these matters is not only questionable, but also raises serious concerns about their integrity and their blatant violation of SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) standards. They wield their extensive legal knowledge as a weapon against their own clients, who, let's not forget, have every right to express their discontent with the subpar service they've been subjected to.

It's a stark and unsettling reality that Maj Law continues to evade accountability while taking advantage of unsuspecting individuals seeking legal assistance. Their actions cast a shadow over the legal profession and demand thorough scrutiny to protect the public from their deceptive practices.

The initial free of charge conversation was very reassuring but that is where it ended. I would have stood a better chance of winning by going alone. Instead I have been faced with fees of £1500 + vat and £1000 + vat to attend court only to lose my licence and face a further £1900 fees. I have grounds to take the matter to high court but they now want a further £2500 + vat. My advise is kept away from this crowd.

Being arrested for a motoring offence that affects your whole livelihood is an incredibly stressful occurrence and a period at which you are perhaps at your most vulnerable. This is when MAJ law will promise you the earth and effusively outline all the numerous points on which your case could fail. I think the key point for myself was when they state in their web advertising that as DD offences are strict liability then the courts put an emphasis on the CPS to strictly adhere to rules and procedures. Examples include time limits for providing documentation or strict procedures that have to be followed in evidence taking and handling. Very simply at this stage they filled me with confidence and I was happy to hand over a VERY significant sum of money. I won't address the many issues of our relationship together nor the legal basis as this has now been passed over to the SRA however the upshot of it is that many months after engaging them and forking out some £10k in hard cash they have just stated that they will not be attending court on 22/09, that I will be totally unrepresented and that my defence now rests with the prosecution witnesses oversleeping and forgetting they are due in court.

Solicitors often get bad press and I can understand why. For almost 10 years I myself was pursued by Phil Shiner and the IHAT on trumped up war crime charges - he is now disgraced and facing may years in prison where he rightfully belongs. He has publicly shown how greed corrupts the legal system yet my experiences here show me that this industry is led purely by financial motives and in no way for championing the rights of those accused of an offence. Following 16 years of service I suffer from complex PTSD and am under the care of the Armed Forces Mental Health Welfare Teams - effectively a vulnerable person. I have absolutely no doubt they have exploited my trusting of them.

MAJ law have one interest and one interest only. Your money. Everything else is smoke and mirrors wrapped up in legalese and hypotheticals.

If I can stop ONE person from using these people then this review has done its job.

26/05/22 - Reviewed by A completely abysmal law firm with no concept of customer care

All this law firm is interested in is taking money.

Costs spiralled to £8,000 for my wife to be informed, after much chasing, that she should not defend literally the day before her trial. So they spent months and thousands to tell her something they knew at the start. Every time she contacted them asking for advice, she was confused, she was scared and unsure what to do, they ignored her. Yet, they were always really communicative the moment they wanted MORE MONEY.

    They are scoundrels!

MAJ Law are a big con, they are only interested in getting as much money from you as they can, they took my case on and gave me false hope, I was told I had a case in my drink driving charge, so I went to trial only to plead guilty on the day, I could have done this from day one and saved £8,500.

That’s not all, When I first contacted MAJ Law, they tell you, don’t worry if you need to speak to anybody about your case we are always available even at weekends, the first weekend came after I’d instructed MAJ to take my case, I was worried about an email I received from MAJ, so I rang the weekend mobile number provided, and got an automated message, I left a message but never got a call back, not even on the Monday, I had to ring them back on Monday morning, guess what, still no one is available to take my call, someone will ring you back, this never happened, I have rang numerous times to speak to Tom and Harry, both never return my calls, also no apology from either of them, the secretary did contact me at least 3 times by phone, yes asking for more money!!!

Another thing that MAJ will do is, email you information about your case or the charges against you, and this is normally just before they close so you can’t get hold of them until the next day, so all night, I would worry sick and get no sleep, even then you would not get a call back from anybody at MAJ Law, unless there after more money.
So after giving £8500 to MAJ I ended up pleading guilty, I received an email from MAJ 2 weeks after me pleading guilty and guess what, yes they want another £1,100 to go back to court for sentencing, they don’t even have the decency to ring you and explain what happens next, this firm is an absolute disgrace and a con.

To rate the service you have to rate them then on how much they care about you 0/10
How much they pretend to care 10/10
Price is over £2000 5/10 but
Price you pay and not be on time over £2000 0/10
Would I recommend them to any one , yes if I didn’t like that person , no if I cared about them and wanted a firm that cares and is honest with you not a firm that sells you the world but delivers inadequate service . Offers you small percentage of a refund . But also boosts that they never lost to the ombudsman , maj law on the surface seem a very good loophole law firm , and they have some cases won , but when they are bad they are bad , I don’t review this as a client that’s lost his case I review this as a client that fired them on day of my case for there inadequate service , communication timing and above all accountability ,

Very slick sales pitch, very little work done for the thousands they charge.
As soon as the first payment is made you are made to sign a document that contains further thousands of pounds of hidden costs that were not explained verbally.
Asked for legal advice on two occasions and was given price lists.

Was told no contact had been received from the Police, only to find that was not true.

My defence was ignored over tall tales of loopholes and promises "It won't go further than this stage"
I now have proper representation that have listened to and acted on my legal defence and with my interests in mind and so far things look good.

The experience I received as a paying customer of this company was one of insensitivity, unprofessionalism and mis-selling.

Hi i share your thoughts here MAJ Law take cases where they consider it is not strong but misrepresent the position. We even found out their “highly experienced barrister “ allocated to our case hand not tried such a case in years so lacked any current experience! They said CPS had not sent the evidence papers so we should go to court as the case would be dismissed on those grounds
(They took payment of over 1,500 for that ) only to have the CPS produced emails and evidence of email delivery to the judge showing this had been sent weeks ago! MAJ Law also represented they had chased up the CPS yet is they had they would have seen in CPS response back that it was already sent.
Agree do not consider this firm as if you complain they ignore you anyway and so without their legal partner looking into the case you cannot go to legal board to escalate the complaint ! We tried and got ignored (father they had got full payment)

I don’t have issue that we lost case per say but i my issue was the manner in which MAJ Law conducted themselves -not fair open nor honest just money grabbing.
