My mother had a dreadful time in settling my father's estate after he died. It took well over a year for the estate to be settled. The solicitor was very charming when getting the business, but once he had the business, he was very difficult to contact. Progress was extremely slow and mum got a partial payment after repeatedly trying to contact the solicitor in question. She eventually got the full amount several months later. The whole experience was very stressful for an elderly lady. Avoid this firm. We will never use them again.

This firm has had two complaints upheld with the legal ombudsman in the past 12 Months for;
-failing to provide advice
-failing to investigate complaints
-failing to keep informed
-failing to progress
- failing to reply
Both of which were upheld in the clients favour. This firm has had to pay the client compensation.
I have raised a formal complaint for similar issues which is under investigation and no doubt more complaints pending.
The family law team are inadequate, fail to act professional, dishonest and then charge extortionate fees for the privilege. This firm need to be stopped. They are destructive, poor quality and will add further emotional distress to an already stressful situation.

Reachel will not make a good solicitor untill she stops letting her personal opinions cloud her legal jugments. Everybody is entitled to legal council without predudice and this is something that she has to comes to terms with. A person may have comitted a crime but in the eyes of the law are still entitled to Justice. She isn't a family solicitor and needs to seek advice from that department. She also needs to listen to all parties regardless of their involvment to obtain a posotive out come. She will come up against some very aquard people and she has to learn to stand up for her clients rights regardless to her personal opinions..

My case was on the face of it a straightforward small claim case. However this was brought against me by a family member. I found Rachael to be very professional but also understanding of the situation. Her advice was explained to me at great length so I always knew what was happening. But she was also easily contactable if I needed to get hold of her.
