We booked our appointment a few weeks in advance as my partner needed to get a day off to visit the solicitor to do our wills, and this time of the year its hard to book time off.
When we arrived at the office the staff member wasn't able to open the front door as it is kept locked, and she didnt have the correct key....or it didnt work. She eventually got the door open. There seems to be no reception staff to greet visitors to the offices.
After 5 minutes we were asked to sit in a tiny meeting room and wait for the solicitor. The offices are very tired and run down looking.
Anyway, a lady then arrived to advise that the solicitor we were meant to be seeing hadn't come to work that day, so she apologised and said we couldn't see anyone.
She then said we couldn't see anyone until the new year.
We were very disappointed, as a day off work had been booked, and we were not phoned before we left home to cancel the appointment.
A very unprofessional firm of solicitors.
