Nicola Payne and her team from Barnes and Partners were excellent from start to finish during the sale of my property. Through out the transaction, I was kept informed and any questions flagged were dealt promptly.

Barnes and Partners Stevenage Branch- Mrs K Newman and team.
Excellent efficient team. I was kept up to date at all stages of the property purchase and my queries were quickly dealt with.
I felt assured that my best interests were always the main priority.
The fees are also very competitive for such a great and friendly service.
I have used this solicitor three times since 2013 and have no hesitation in recommending them. Definitely would use again.

We received an amazing service and experience from Nicola Payne and her team when my daughter Alisa was buying her first flat in East London. We used Robert Dawson as our solicitor, on our recent sale and purchase, from Barnes & Partners and can not recommend him highly enough. 
I work in the property industry and have bought and sold a couple of times, and my experience of solicitors has always been the same. This was until I used Robert. Never, have I met a solicitor who is so on the ball, contacts you as soon as correspondence comes in, even if it is a Sunday afternoon and so dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience.
The whole process went through at such a speed, and Robert was always on hand and approachable to provide advice. 

Thank you Robert for making the process so easy and for being available every time I called or emailed. 
You truly are a credit to your company and your industry.

Will be using Robert again, in the future and will be recommending him to everyone!

My partner and I could not be happier with the service that Robert Dawson, at Barnes & Partners, has provided on the purchase of our first home. He was exceptionally thorough and communicative throughout the whole process. We always felt well informed at each stage of our purchase. Although we had some issues on the sellers end, Robert dealt with these immediately and efficiently. We cannot thank Robert enough for all of his work and support, we are truly grateful. We have already recommended Robert to someone and will continue to do so.

Great service from Joanna Peters who handled conveyancing for my property purchase several years back - very friendly, efficient and on the ball, just what I needed as a first time buyer. When I reached out to her again recently to help me locate some extra documents in relation to the property she was very quick to respond, liaising with the Land Registry on my behalf and resolving my queries in a flash. Was referred to Robert Dawson at Barnes and Partners by my estate agent and thankfully was the best decision ever! Ive moved a fair bit and usually the solicitor part of the process is the most frustrating part, lack of communication, old school practices, hard to get hold of etc etc. Not Robert, he's well and truly in the modern world, you can get hold of him by direct dial and email whenever you need and often he will reply to mails outside these hours. He actions enquiries swiftly, speaks in plain English and really assists in getting to where you want to be fast. I wouldnt use anyone else in future.

I have received excellent customer service from my solicitor. I found Mr Robert Dawson extremely knowledgeable and professional. Robert answered all questions I had for him. He is structured, transparent and acted on my behalf with no hidden or extra fees.

We used Nicola Payne in the Chingford branch for our house sale last month. It was a complicated transaction as we were selling in London and buying a business in Scotland where the conveyancing system is different. Nicola was proactive from the outset and brilliant throughout. She regularly went above and beyond her role by chasing solicitors at the bottom of the chain to try and speed up the process. We are very grateful to her and very much recommend working with her.

I have used the same solicitor for over 30 years, but for this particular house sale we used Nicola at Barnes and Partners Chingford branch as we were selling my mum's house and wanted someone local to her. I have been so impressed that I have already decided to transfer all of our future business to Nicola permanently. Nicola was always available and guided us through a particularly difficult hitch towards the end of the sale. She was reassuring and professional and always on top of our case. We were very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We are entirely happy with sale of a leasehold flat. The freeholder was not helpful in supplying necessary information in a timely fashion to progress the sale and there was a risk the sale could fall through. A satisfactory solution was found to overcome the problem leading to a swift exchange and completion.

I was pleased overall with the service provided by Barnes and Partners, Stoke Newington, who acted for me in a recent sale of property. It is a small office but I felt I was being well looked after and they answered my calls and enquiries when necessary. I only have experience of a relatively small matter and do not know how they would cope with a more complex transaction. I saw the partner in charge just once and was impressed by her grasp of the matter.

I have used Robert Dawson of Barnes & Partners on a few occasions for both buying and selling properties, he is by far the most efficient, through and professional Solicitor i have ever dealt with and i have had numerous dealings with others conveyancing Solicitors over the last ten years.
The prices that i have been charged for both buying and selling have been very reasonable.
I would have no reservations on recommending Robert to others.

Dealt with Robert Dawson who was very professional throughout and willing to stay until late to meet regarding the final stages of our house move. Dealings online and via email were very easy. Some of the office arrangements are a little odd, and there were a couple of occasions where different people within the office did not communicate very well with each other and led to some mix ups requiring me to return at later points.

I would give 10 out of 5 if I could. Nicola has been regularly going way above and beyond what is required. We had a very complicated exchange with the solicitors on both ends of the chain. Both the sellers and buyers solicitors were not great, constantly delaying things and not getting things done. This made it even harder for Nicola, however she continued to persevere and never even flinched in her dedication to help us get it over the line. Nicola was always available to talk to us on the phone and at points several times in a day to help keep us reassured, this is certainly not common practice as most solicitors I have historically dealt with leave you to speak with the paralegals. When the other solicitors in our chain were not doing what was required, she had a very positive attitude and where she could, she just got things done to speed up the process and where she could not she regularly chased the relevant people to ensure they acted as quickly and concisely as possible. There is not a single thing more that I could have asked Nicola to do more or better. I would recommend Nicola highly

I recently purchased a property and used the Stoke Newington branch for the conveyancing . Miss Joanna Peters and her assistants dealt with the case and found them to be very professional , fast and efficient . I found Miss Peters to be very knowledgeable of the conveyancing laws in relation to my purchasing both the leasehold and freehold of the property simultaneously She was very thorough in every aspect of the process . In addition I was also very pleased with the fees charged as these were very reasonably for the vast amount of work they did in this matter . I would be very to happy to recommend this firm to my friends and family .

Nicola Payne and her team were excellent in a long process which had many problems due only to circumstance! They were professional whilst being reassuring and helpful with the many pitfalls that appeared during the process.

Martin and his team in Pinner helped us purchase our second home in Pembrokeshire. Martin and the team were fantastic. They really looked after our interests and left no stone unturned when checking everything was right for us to move ahead with the purchase. We have used Barnes and Partners twice now, when buying and selling property in London. On both occasions they were able to give helpful, professional advice, and were always quick to respond to questions. We were able to speak directly with the solicitor, Joanna Peters, when required, but the office assistants, Anita and Taneka, were able to answer most of our queries fully and promptly. We would definitely consider using Barnes and Partners for any further property dealings in London.

I highly recommend Cara Sheridan as I was recommended her by a woman who was going through a bad divorce. I saw that woman go from a scared insecure person to a brave strong one after taking cara Sheridan on as her solicitor.
CS was the most amazing strong powered woman I have ever met in my life and the minute she started representing me it also felt like she joined my divorce issues personally.
If it wasn’t for CS I wouldn’t have the knowledge I have today and moved on successfully with my life.
I recommend Barnes and Partners to promote this solicitor as they need to know how lucky they are to have her.

Absolutely terrible. Communications non existent. Robert Dawson, is arrogant, rude and fails to answer your phone calls or emails. Apparently, he's too busy. The service was so poor that after 7 months of trying to buy a property, we've had to give up and take our business elsewhere. I would NOT recommend Barnes and Partners.

I want to say no stars but it does not allow me to!

I am absolutely disgusted by the professionalism and service Barnes and Partners provide!
I have had no end of issues with our Solicitor, Chanel Leslie. I have sent a complaint to Kenneth Winterflood, who is a partner and the complaints coordinator. He did not reply to my email until I chased him over a week later. His reply was unacceptable and condoned the behaviour of our solicitor. I have furthered this complaint to be told to 'bare with Kenneth' it's not a great look when the secretary of Mr Barnes won't help. I would not recommend this company and I highly suggest you take your wel earn money somewhere else!
