Currently in between exchange and completion. Can not fault the service I have received. Everything has been done promptly and smoothly. Would definitely use CTW again on buying another house. Jake Eldridge has been handling my move and he has been excellent, very helpful and approachable, can not fault him at all.

I'm always cautious when one business recommends another one - normally it's because a 'kick-back' is in place and more often than not, it's NOT because the recommended party is incredibly good at what they do...makes you think twice right? Well having been recommended to use Cook Taylor Woodhouse by our Estate Agents (who confirmed there is a kick back in place as is the norm for most of these relationships), I did some digging in the summer of 2017 on Cook Taylor Woodhouse and they seemed to be pretty ok so I went ahead for their fixed quote and I couldn't be happier that I did. Whilst I can't speak about the whole company, I can definitely speak about the BRILLIANT service that I received from Rebecca Riva and her team in their Bromley office. Not only was she pretty easy to get hold of, I was always kept in the loop. Even after my house completed and they've technically been paid all the money owed, she's still involved with being on the front foot of mistakes made at HMRC (spelling my name wrong and therefore believing I still owed them stamp duty!) and updating me constantly. They made my first property purchase a breeze and I've already been recommending Rebecca and the team to everyone I know.

We used CTW at Dartford for the sale and purchase of properties in autumn 2017. We were in Spain for much of the time and Xanthe , our solicitor could not have made both processes any easier !!
Correspondence by e-mail , phone and fax was conducted very efficiently with responses often within hours regardless of the fact that we were in another country.
Legal issues were explained clearly to us and documents were processed very quickly.
We would recommend CTW to anyone as they are extremely efficient and the costs are very reasonable .

I used CTW in Maidstone and also used Eltham branch. They worked above and beyond to ensure my sale went through without a hitch. After a rather lengthy purchase, down completely to my Vendor, they worked tirelessly to ensure all the paperwork was completed thoroughly, especially when dealing with extensive leasehold issues. Easy to contact by phone or email. I can highly recommend them without hesitation.

CTW were recommended by my estate agents and their representative Jake Eldridge handled the conveyancing for the sale of my old house and the purchase of my new house.

From the outset I found them to be open and approachable, sympathetic but professional, any problems or concerns were listened to and acted upon speedily with the results being forwarded on to me assign as possible.

I found the CTW office perfectly prepared to accept information I had unearthed and act upon it without making me feel as if it were not my business to be getting involved. They perfectly accepted that I paid the bills and had a vested interest in what was going on.

I found the charges well in proportion to the work being carried out on my behalf, (unlike Estate Agents) and I consider their charges good value for money.

I would definitely recommend them to other people, and have in fact done so. I also wrote to the office thanking them for their help in what could have been an extremely stressful time. I believe good manners goes both ways.

Karen Finch in the Dartford office was amazing! My simple purchase was incredibly protracted due to issues on the other side but Karen worked tirelessly to resolve all the queries, answering my emails promptly and keeping me updated. She was incredibly understanding of my frustrations and sought to ease my concerns at all times.
The charges were very reasonable and certainly well earned in this instance!
I used CTW for both my transactions and would not hesitate to use them again.

Immaculate. Charges were less than £1000. Information given was for the most part intelligible and where it raised questions they were invariably dealt with by return letter, e-mail, or telephone call. An updating on-line service was available to anyone with a computer friendly enough to be able to access it - unfortunately not mine - but given the speed of response by the other means given above that was not a problem. Some problems were imagined rather than real but all were dealt with with good humour that went a long way to reducing the levels of stress that home sales bring. I would not hesitate to use them again nor to recommend them to others.

I cannot fault the conveyancing service I received when selling my property. I received regular updates, even if there was nothing new to report. All queries were dealt with from information provided, without the need to contact me unnecessarily. Communication was very efficient and the whole transaction was incredibly smooth, taking all the stress out of it completely. Have used your service twice in the last year, both for my daughter buying and selling a property and myself selling. Ben o Keeffe dealt with me on both occasions and the service from him was excellent The fees for both were very reasonable considering due to one property falling through at the last moment. Communication was good at all times and he was easy to approach when I needed a point clarified. Would I use them again yes I would.

They are reasonably priced giving a comprehensive quotation of their services in the first instance. They are flexible if you don't need part of a package offered and they are happy to advise on best practice in your circumstances. They are always accessible and keep the client updated.

I was very pleased with the service I received for just selling a property. It did go to probate and there was released equity to be dealt with. I originally opted to go for an online company but quickly realised that the personal touch was the better way to go. I requested emails for contact as its not easy when you are in a busy office at work. The phone calls were kept to the barest minimum and I knew exactly where we were in the process at all times. The staff were friendly, professional and gave very clear instructions. I was pleased with how much was charged, there were no unpleasant surprises. at the end.

We first used CTW Maidstone Branch to sell our property as it was recommended by the Estate Agent. I found the service that they provided stressfree and very easy to follow. The online portal was a great help and gave piece of mind that documents had been recieved and reviewed, allowing you to follow the process easily. Any questions raised were answers promptly and the sell went through very quickly.
We are now in the middle of purchasing our new home and again felt confident that CTW would give us an effiencient service. I would recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

100% satisfied with CTW solicitor and team. From beginning to end the process service I received from Cook Taylor Woodhouse was first class. They were not the cheapest solicitor but the level of diligence and attention to detail was beyond my expectations.. I was kept regularly informed by email and letter on the progress of the conveyancing and the solicitors made sure that every single matter that arose was dealt with to the mutual satisfaction of both myself and the sellers.. The portal was also easy to use and useful when I had to refer to a correspondence but didn't have it to hand.. The service was light years ahead of the company I used previously and would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family in the future.

We instructed CTW to act for us following the death of my mother. We found the service provided to be very professional and sympathetic as it was very sad time for us. We also used CTW to arrange probate for us. Both the sale of the property and obtaining probate was carried out without causing any further distress to us. It was nice to have a solicitor answer the phone every time we phoned and not be passed through by a secretary. Fair prices too!

Cook Taylor Woodhouse (CTW) worked for me on a sale and a purchase. I can say that I was entirely satisfied with the service, which at all times was efficient and polite. I was not aware at all of any procrastination, and my queries and other contacts were invariably dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

At no time was I made to feel that I was just one of many clients, as has been my experience with solicitors in the past. I will say that with CTW there was no fuss, by which I mean that, as far as I could see, they got on with the work they were doing for me effectively and without creating unnecessary difficulties or complications. In short, I'd be surprised if the transactions could have been completed any more quickly than they were.

The charges were very reasonable and competitive, and I would without hesitate recommend CTW.

Cook Taylor Woodhouse solicitors were recommended to me and now I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anybody else. Everyone I dealt with at their offices either in person or by telephone were very polite and took their time to ensure I understood all the processes.
I was quickly given online access to my file, which I found easy to follow and there was no delay in items appearing.

I used Cook Taylor woodhouse in Eltham for a flat sale. Nimmi dealt with my case and she was very good. She was very efficient and always got back to me if I had any questions. The sale went through quickly especially considering the flat was leasehold and is more complex my nature (Freeholders, Management agents as well as the vendor to deal with). There is a lot of work involved but Nimmi ploughed through it and was always fully in control. Cook Taylor Woodhouse also made use of technology, e.g emailing my copies of documents and emailing the vendors which speed things up.
Overall I was very pleased and considering how much work is really involved, I found it good value for money. They were around the same price as some others I called but the estate agents I sold though said they have used CTW a lot and know they are good. Since they have a clear interest in seeing the property sales through to completion, I went with CTW and was not disappointed.

He took the time to answer all of our many questions and gave us ample opportunity to go into detail on the points that we need clarification on. Over the last 8 Years I have used CTW for 2 sales and 3 purchases. I just want to say what a fantastic service I have had on all 5 transactions. I have never had an issues, I have just completed on my new purchase on Friday and yes again I have not been disappointed. Sally and Nimmi done an amazing job as did Nicky and Lisa. Just wanted to let you know personally how happy we have been with your services.

Myself and my partner found our overall experience with CTW very pleasant, they made sure we were well informed and happy with everything happening and got us into a home sooner than expected. I have nothing but praise and thanks to the team – especially Katie who went that extra mile for us
