Please be aware FOYS completed conveyancing for our property this as left us with loads of issues from (unsafe boiler .Property not registered on completion.Restrictive covenants not explained only to make ourselves aware of them ?The conveyancing executive (CM) did not have ultimate responsibility for our conveyancing this was someone else whom we had never met or spoken too.Her name never appeared on any documents .
.A conveyancing executive is not a fully trained solicitor .So please be aware this is the third property i have purchased and we have never add these issues in prior purchases .

Very disappointing customer approach. I have been waiting for paperwork to be sent for 1 week, then learned my case was transferred to another branch, who had no idea of transfer. When I called the new branch, I've learned there are so many emails coming in we don't have time to read them all.... How about you tell your customer that in advance ?

Unfortunately I found the solicitor to be unhelpful and found that they only provided advice I could (and had already) found using internet search engines. They didn't seem interested in helping me at all and didn't bother to read the ample documentation I brought in. I got the opinion the "free" advice they offer is not worth their time and if your not paying £200 per hour they don't want to listen or indeed help with your problem. Safe yours and their time and effort and avoid.

I used Foys to purchase a purpose build flat in 2016 and it took them 5 months to complete the contract. The documents received after almost 5 months were wrong, names, address, even the land registry number was not right. If you do not want to chase them on daily basis and to make sure you buy the property, I would not recommend them. Appalling service and I wish I knew.

Had the misfortune of having to deal with Dayne from this firm. To summarize terrible service, inexperienced and incompetent staff, aggressive and confrontational communication style. Purchase of the property was delayed by a week and it became obvious that the conveyancer was inexperienced in processing the transaction even though we were assured by Indeed, the company which passed us on the Foys, that they only work with the most highly rated firms. We did receive a written apology from them and compensation for 150 GBP however, I would suggest avoiding them like the plague and pay the additional 200 GBP to a firm that actually knows what they are doing and understand what customer service entails.

Slow in answering and took 1.5 days to realise the property I wanted to buy was in Scotland where they are not able to act.
Even when mentioned the offer was accepted and needed to act fast to avoid other bidding.
Disappointed by the experience.

We used Ann Davis at Foys. The service was very poor. Took almost 2 months to do a simple loan transfer. Original loan company ended up threatening to reposes. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM. Ann appeared to be incompetent.
