I took on foys at retford to purchase a property the solicitor dealing with this had to take long term sick leave and my case was took over by carissa at doncaster.I was a bit dismayed at first but what a professional she was. From first contact to the end kept in contact all way through with updates let me do all my signing at retford office to save inconvenience really smooth purchase. I am really pleased with the service and the price was really competitive I would recommend carissa and foys if you are purchasing a property a really professional company

Having had such a brilliant experience with Hannah when I bought my first property around 4 years ago, she was the first person I called to complete our current sale and purchase. Our experience with Hannah this time has again been excellent. Hannah’s communication has been fantastic, we have been kept in the loop throughout the whole process and she has always been available to answer any questions which has eased our anxieties massively. The whole process feels like it has been a breeze. Hannahs amazing work has meant our sale and purchase have completed in a matter of weeks, and as an added bonus avoided us paying stamp duty. I have already passed on Hannahs details to family members who are in the process of selling, and will continue to recommend Hannah to anybody else buying and/or selling in the future. Though we don’t plan on moving house again any time soon, I will absolutely be keeping her details for the future. Hannah - we honestly cannot thank you enough for everything!

The service we received from Hannah and Shania was really good and would recommend to anyone. Nothing was to much to ask for and they always called me back and emailed pretty much straight away and dealt with all the questions I had promptly. Overall a good experience and will definitely use again in the future!

We used Foys as our conveyancing firm while buying our first house. Carissa was so helpful! She always made time to reply to emails and answer any queries we had during the process. There were no hidden fees and fees didn’t change from the quote we were given at the start of the process. It was a great service and we would recommend to others! Thanks

Just bought my first home with my partner and started off not really knowing much, but wow, our solicitor, has been absolutely amazing, so patient and kind, happy to explain everything, however many times we asked. She always communicated, and kept us up to date with any updates. I could not thank her enough!

July 23.
I used Foys for a property sale. As I had used them previously I requested the same member of staff. Carissa Moore does an excellent job! She is quick to respond, is helpful with her explanations and is obviously very skilled and efficient in her role. She took us from pre sale to completion with minimum stress.

He was proactive, responsive and good for a chat, keeping me informed of all communication with the purchaser's solicitor in a speedy manner.

From our first appointment through to completion the service we received was excellent. It was a difficult time due to a bereavement and we appreciated the compassion and care . All the necessary legal procedures were explained in a clear manner and throughout the entire process we were kept informed of the current position.

I had a complex probate application, which I took to Foys. Lee dealt with this for me and the probate office issued the Grant very quickly, despite all the Covid restrictions/delays. This demonstrates the depth of his knowledge, and the peace of mind you can have, as Lee deals with it for you. He was extremely professional and polite throughout.

Fair rate for the work completed.

Excellent service by Lee Hunter who was knowledgeable, approachable and gave sound help and advice in related matters not covered by his direct services.
The final fees exceeded the initial estimate but this was due to delays and additional services being required over the 4+ years period of the case. I was advised of the increased cost well before those costs were incurred – Lee was very open and transparent in this area.
I would recommend Lee to others.

Thank you so much to Lee Hunter at Foys Solicitors. The service was thoroughly professional and the advice succinct. The probate process was really speedy given Mum died in lockdown. I would thoroughly recommend the Wills and Probate Department. The pricing didn't vary from the original quote and payment was not requested until after I had received all the relevant paperwork.

I wish to take this opportunity to recommend Lee Hunter, from Foys in Doncaster. From the outset he listened to us with sensitivity and advised us with thoughtfulness, dedication and respect. He is knowledgeable, considered and above all, caring; he cares about his clients and served us with great attention to detail. We really cannot recommend him enough. As my husband and I set out, rather blindly and with no prior legal experiences, to write our Wills, we remarked how important it must be to find a good solicitor; having met and worked with Lee Hunter, we can safely confirm that we have found ours. In these uncertain times it made us think about the future and the future of our child should the worst happen. I’ve used Foys in Doncaster for a couple of reasons, one was property related and another for probate. In both cases the staff have been helpful, compassionate, professional and efficient. Our family is particularly grateful for all the work Lee Hunter has done for us in relation to probate. It was a difficult time and he went out of his way to support us and gave us some excellent advice. Further, we have found their charges to be reasonable in all our dealings with them, they charged a fixed fee which helps you know what to expect, so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them heartily!

My family and I have been clients of Foys for many years and wouldnt go anywhere else. They have looked after us following divorce, will making, power of attorney and represented us in court following a successful will dispute. our latest contact being probate. Lee Hunter represented us along with Sam Smith and I found Lee very knowledgable approachable and friendly taking time to make sure everything was understood and mindful of the fact we were still grieving. I would like to take time to give a very positive feedback during the process of finalising my parents will.
As my father had recently had a stroke and as a consequence he has been left virtually paralysed down his right hand side .
Mum and Dads solicitor Lee and his assistant took time to go out to their home and handled their will in a caring and compassionate manner.
I would recommend, Foys of Doncaster to anyone else especially if you are in a similar situation.
The cost was fair and competitive.

I was recently made redundant and was urged by the HR Department to have my terms of redundancy reviewed by a solicitor. I had used Foy's before for my will and had no problem with using them again. I was put in touch with Mr Makol who, from the word go, handled my case great efficiency, and made the transition from the original redundancy offer to my being paid very smooth. I would definitely recommend this service to others in the same situation.

Anuj Makol helped me with an employment matter. I had difficulty initially finding a suitable solicitor who didnt just offer compensation claim assistance but on contacting Foys branch at Chapeltown I was put in touch with Mr Makol who very kindly arranged an appointment very quickly as I needed some paperwork reviewed and advice before signing within a very short turnaround. He was very thorough and explained things clearly and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend this gentleman.
