I only have to say that my one experience with Henrique Griffiths, on the 11th. January, 2023, was to leave a voicemail at the message's invitation, and then to hear nothing whatsoever thereafter.
That's a ' service ' many companies offer these days, so I don't see how they can claim any distinction for themselves.

Unfortunately the service did not add any value and actually caused me more time and frustration than handling the matter myself. Having previously used Henriques Griffiths conveyancing team in Winterbourne and been very pleased with the level of service, I contacted their litigation team in Portland Sq to assist me in evicting a tenant. They explained that a lot of whether a tenant is evicted or not is down to the individual judge. I gave them all the facts and documentation in relation to my case at the start and highlighted the concerns I had. As we went through the process, the problems I foresaw arose, and the solicitor having previously said that he didn't think they were a concern then said that they actually could be. Throughout the process, the solicitor made assumptions that weren't true and then I had to remind him about the particulars of my case that he had forgotten. I received emails saying that he was 'ostensibly out of the office for the next 2 days' but after chasing he eventually came back to me 2 weeks later. I was constantly left not knowing what was going on, with no idea of the process that we were undergoing - a simply flow diagram giving the possibilities of appeals/court/etc would have been useful if an explanation was too hard. Fortunately the tenant left before the court date. I also wasn't kept in informed of what the costs would be so I would just receive an invoice every now and then and be expected to pay it. I would not use Henrigue Griffiths Litigation team again.

I used HG for the sale of my property and initially wanted them to handle my ongoing purchase.
What began with simple admin errors ended with charging me 4 times the amount quoted due to a further admin error and disclosing my card details in their reception with a room full of people.
The senior partner waived fees as a result and offered to handle the case but I felt this wouldn’t be necessary. I did however move the ongoing purchase to a different firm.
I regretted this decision and giving HG the opportunity to turn things around almost immediately as the service continued to be dire. Inaccurate completion statements and a general lack of joining things up with the purchase firm.
The erroneous payment featured in these and had I not checked my credit card statement this would have been my first knowledge of this. Chattels not included despite numerous emails.
HG were recommended by my estate agent and because that agent is trusted and is extremely professional I accepted their recommendation.
Personally I would not recommend HG for property services and had I known about these review sites I would not have accepted the recommendation as there are several negative reviews with regard to conveyancing services at Winterbourne.

Wouldn't recommend. Someone below mentioned a 'robotic response' which is pretty much what I got from them. Were recommended through the estate agent, and legally everything went through in the end but as a first time buyer I found their service massively lacking in any explanation as to what was going on.

Very poor experience. Our sale of a deceased estate house was turned into a huge pain at the last minute. At one point HG suggested they wanted to pay proceeds to the executors of a family member who died 15 years ago - which raises the question of how carefully documents were being read. We were also asked to open an executor's bank account with just four days' notice (losing half a day's work), having been told around two weeks before that everything was in good shape. The response to our complaint was what you would expect from a firm of solicitors!

The worst service ever. I would never recommend them to anyone who wants to get their job done. Can't even spell the names correctly and in three different places in the same form the names are spelt differently. They never respond to any of the calls or emails and because of them our exchange and completion got delayed by months. Very very poor service and because of them we had to go through a major stress. Very unhappy with the service. I wouln't even want to give them a single star for rating

I would not recommend this firm nor with I ever use them again. We purchased a house and only used them because they were recommended through the real estate.
I believe that their unfriendly service and emotionless robotic nature increased the level of stress that we encountered. Events such as spelling errors on paperwork and sniggering comments on telephone calls made me believe that their level of care was well below the standards I should expect especially when paying a substantial fee.

This was the solicitor firm appointed to us when we were applying for a mortgage through HSBC and had to use their CountryWide Panel of solicitors. They took over 3 months to complete the entire transaction when it could've been done in 6 weeks. Our mortgage came through instantly. It was purely the incompetence by the staff that led to the delay. Our case worker changed twice. Some progress was made with the 3rd person who was a solicitor. However many checks were not done such as planning applications for work done which in the end we contacted the local council directly. We had to constantly chase them up on progress throughout. Just avoid them at all costs.

I have had a very similar experience and unfortunately have had to pay for additional things that I thought were checked and OK'd prior to moving in.
Perhaps it is a lesson learnt but the lack of acknowledgement to concerns set us up for these unexpected and unwanted surprises.

Terrible service and terrible communications. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Impossible to get hold of, never returned calls, totally unorganised. Got invoices wrong and were so bad at communications that we were given an exchange date, only to find 1 week before the given date we found the other solicitors in the chain had no idea about it . This all resulted in our buyer pulling out!

With the total bill of conveyancing for my property at approximately £1200, you would like to think that there would be a good service when paying such money. This however is far from the truth and getting any sort of communication or service was extremely difficult. I feel for the sort of money you have to pay, there should be know difficulty in communication and when a stage in the process of conveyancing has been completed i should of been made aware. Instead of me sitting around waiting and worrying thinking that it hasn't been done
