Unfortunately, I had to give 1 star otherwise I could not post a review, however if I had the option, I would have given ZERO stars.
I had to use Lysander Law as they are the law firm provided by the insurance company at the time, and I can honestly say I would not pay from my own pocket to use them again. In fact, I would pay to avoid having to use them. From a lack of consistency in dealing with my case, although I have now lost count, I had around 5 different solicitors involved which led to multiple occasions of me having to refill out paperwork due to it being lost / misplaced. Complacency was also an issue as having read through my file there were multiple mistakes in terms of the details regarding my accident. Again, these were details that I had gone over several times.
Perhaps the biggest faux pas was their inability to keep me updated. I was only made aware of a settlement offer, 2 years after it was actually made by the opposing side. By which point it was taken off the table. They seemed to not want to hear from me even though I was the client, however when the barrister advised them to settle my case instead of it going to court, all of sudden they took things more seriously and a settlement was reached 4 years after my accident. In fairness the final solicitor that I had there called Aimee, she was fantastic at her job and got things done in a swift manor. So, no bad things to say about Aimee. If anything, I would advise she find a better Law firm to work for.
As a Law firm I would avoid them at all costs.

Thank you for the feedback. We do appreciate your frustrations bearing in mind that we issued proceedings in July 2020 and the case was first listed for a trial in August 2021, but then adjourned by the Court on three occasions. Unfortunately it can be the case that staff move roles or depart from the firm when a case goes on for this length of time. We are happy to discuss anything further direct with you.

It’s taken them 2 years 7 months to tell me I don’t have a case. Lack of communication and very unhelpful solicitors that keep passing the book, manager did not take my complaint seriously, I would not recommend them, my previous case took over 2 years to resolve .. I had 2 very bad experiences with Lysander Law

DO NOT USE. I used Lysander because they were recommended by my insurance company. I suffered quite bad whiplash which lasted 2 months and ongoing PTSD which affects me nearly 6 months later. They offered me a settlement of £1700 which is very low considering my injuries. So I asked a relative who had a similar accident and he told me he got paid £3500. That’s double what my negotiations will start at!! I also phoned other law firms who told me if they took on my case they’d settle for no less than £3000. Call Legal also told me my settlement figure should have been upto £6000. I told my handler that the figure was too low but she seemed happy to START negotiations at £1700!!! Apparently a manager has also agreed with the figure. Lysander law want their success rate to be high, they do not care about their clients best interests. Find other law firms who will offer you better settlements

Was amazing up to the point of receiving my claim! Could never get in touch with the person who was dealing with my claim. Was told my claim would be in my bank 25/2/21. Nothing so I phoned the next day and was promised payment by the end of that working day. Still nothing.

Recommended by my car insurance and they’re just appalling 18months after the accident - no where near a resolution to my claim. Now had 4 different handlers on my case. No communication, no respect, emails and calls unanswered. I have to do all the chasing. Seems Rhi can spend her time on here replying to reviews but can’t be bothered to deal with the clients that have genuine concerns. Avoid.

I would avoid this company at all costs. They were extremely unprofessional and condescending, 18 months in my claim is still no where near to being sorted, every time I have needed an update, I have had to call in. They do not keep you updated, and your case is only updated when you call constantly to complain that nothing is being done, several times things have been forgotten and not updated on my file, the whole company just seems a complete shambles.

This is my second 1 star review I wrote a review back in February and still here in July not sorted my claim has been settled Lysander law have been paid my money from other party and I’m still sat here without it in my bank and now I don’t even get any response from anyone they received my payment before Christmas and keep saying there’s problems stay as far away from this company as possible I will be looking at pursuing more legal action against them now as they are keeping my money for no reason even tho I’ve proved to them multiple times I haven’t received I repeat stay away from this company at all cost not atall professional

Service is awful from this company I would avoid at all cost like others have stated I accepted an offer before Christmas and said it will be paid before Christmas rang them in January they said it’ll be in your bank by 20th February so waited another month still no money rang them again for them to say haven’t signed security stuff which then never told me months ago so signed it all of and told you’ll have it within 48 hours we’ll guess what 3 days later still no money no contact basically they have my money and holding it for there own gain when ever you ring they palm you off with anything you want to hear no doubt tomorrow they’ll say something went wrong my brother is also going through a claim with same company and he’s been treated poorly if you want your claim sorted professionally i strongly advise you look elsewhere I’m sure il get Palmed off again in morning

I phoned up today to be told being investigated now got to wait even longer for money I’ve had coming my way for months I’m sure when I phone Monday there will be more excuses can not stress this enough do not use this company they won’t pay you out on agreed date even tho they have your money they will feed you with loads of rubbish and make you chase everything not one phone call or email to me I have to ring them everytime

Hi I am also having problems with this company, I put in my claim 6 months ago and was supposed to see a physiotherapist and I haven’t heard anything from them at all. I have just been left because of the lack of are I have been feeling a lot worse and my back pain is terrible. I have been suffering anxiety and depression since my accident and had no help at all.

Absolutely terrible service! And reading other reviews you treat all of your customers the same! The service I have received is terrible. I keep getting 'new case handlers', why?? and why is it I always have to ring for an update. I signed all of my proposals 3 weeks ago..... I call and my new handler will be updated. why don't they already know that my documents have been signed and received. The communication is poor and I will be calling my insurer to provide the feedback as I allowed you to take on my case based on their recommendation. You take 24% approx. of MY compensation so in effect I am paying you for a terrible service. I work in the finance industry and understand regulation and how you SHOULD be treating customers. I want my case to be looked at and resolved asap. This is ridiculous!

I’ve had an ongoing claim since the 31/01/2019, every time I’m being told something is happening I call to chase up and nothing has been done, I then have to speak to someone else to get anything done, I’ve taken a settlement offer against there advice just to get this finished and upon chasing this up again today I have been told that has also not been done even though I have signed the relevant paperwork,
I am constantly told I will be emailed or called and it is never done.
I spent from September - January chasing as I was told it would need to go to court and an email would be sent to me, I called the start of January to be told by someone else that I wasn’t in position to go to court and there was no email due to be sent out.

I phoned this morning and palmed off again the lady dealing with my case is on holiday and waiting to hear from other side no one wants to make phone calls to other side just got to sit and wait for another 3 weeks cause that’s the new deadline after I been told this 10 times already every month

Unfortunately not happy with the service they are very slow, I email them and never get response, I have the call them every week to get an update, they don’t answer emails, my medical was done 3 weeks ago I call them every week, and they always say waiting for manager to confirm, what’s taking so long !!! Completely Incompetent - I would steer clear of this firm. My partner has just lost a case where someone crashed into her and is now facing large debts as a result of the case. The Barrister said he didn't want to walk into the courtroom as the evidence provided was so wishy washy. The judge labelled her legal team as completely incompetent and they had seriously failed her from a legal standpoint.

David Filer never answered calls, collected the wrong information, communicated ineffectively and supplied the barrister with next to nothing to present in court.

Rhiannon Cambrook-Woods is the Director of Lysander Law Ltd, we tried to reach out to her several times but never returned any of our calls, clearly, the people who line the pockets of the company aren't important enough for her to speak to.

Our experience with this company has been horrendous, my disabled partner has gone from being the victim of an RTA to now being in debt due to 1 employee's basic skills to provide the service in which he is paid for.

We hope no one else suffers through working with this firm as we have.

So to start off with the lack of communication with these guys is beyond a joke, I think up to press for every 4- 5 emails I sent I may get one response, Secondly they like to exaggerate on the truth, you never really know whats happening, I was that fed up I had to ring the MIB myself to find out what was happening as i have been waiting for payment of these guys for 4 weeks. The MIB have confirmed they have paid Lysander law on Wednesday, however my claim handler has now disappeared of the face of the earth... after all this i'm been charged with the pleasure of working with them.

Interest on a £100,000.00 wouldn’t be worth it so I can’t imagine they would hold on to people’s claims, you would need millions and for more than just days.
