Disgrace of a company if you are using these as a new build company recommended be aware they work to the agents needs and hid and didn’t check important information such as planning permission not being looked at building regulations not signed off. I compalined to Tracey quirk 3 months on no response. DO NOT USE

Unempathetic, fee chasing charlatans who are lovely and helpful at the beginning then stab you from afar at the end. This disgusting company charged me £2000 for two court appearances in which they accomplished absolutely nothing, thus I removed them and continued alone. One year later I receive a court summons for a further £2000 owed to them, of which I was completely unaware. No contact, no letters or emails or anything, nothing until I receive a court summons!? They then doubled the amount I owed once I had paid a further £1500 out of nowhere and nobody is ever available to discuss this... they are truly disgusting people. Do it use them at any cost!

After four months after my offer was accepted on my house I'm finally in it. I was a first time buyer going into a house with no chain, it really should have been straightforward. Instead, I almost lost the house I was buying, I was right at the end of the tenancy agreement with my landlord so I thought I would have no where to live, and they quoted £840 (roughly) and my actual bill came to around £1056. In house solicitors at estate agents cost around £1300 at most and it's just not worth the stress that I went through to save that £300. I had Debbie Kerwin who didn't reply to emails and was never around to answer my calls. I was told by a receptionist that she was "swamped" at the moment, I believe I'm not the only person who has been told that from other reviews I have seen, which just shows the complete lack of professionalism employed by these people. I received a call from Debbie but then had to call her back and the receptionist told me she was unavailable even though it had been less than a minute since I had last spoke to her which makes me think she logs on their system that she's unable to take calls.
I was blamed for not sending money into the client account for searches which is why they were saying that they hadn't done it (after waiting two weeks) but after they had checked they realised that they had received the funds two weeks prior.
I'd give them zero stars if it was an option. I really hope my review allows people to make a good call when choosing their solicitors, just go with in house for conveyancing or just do so much research into the company you're looking at.

Nicola Harris, a partner from this firm used foul language and expletives towards her client's opposing party, following a family court hearing that did not go her way. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. A disgrace to her profession and to the company that she was representing (MSB Law).

I totally agree. Nicola Harris has no consideration for children, nor does she have any manners. She is more interested in lying to obtain non mols and prohibited steps, in order to ramp up the claims for legal aid. I sent a complaint to the ombudsman then she suddenly went of with stress.
02/10/17 - Response by Former client
I agree. Nicola Harris has no place in the Legal Profession. During my dealings with her, she behaved exceptionally unprofessionally, shouted at me, failed to listen to points that were pivotal to my case and was completely ineffective. The way she spoke to me was absolutely appalling, considering that I am paying her wages. - No more - as it's always better to fire people like this.
Disgraceful example of a "solicitor".
I would never, ever recommend MSB to a third party to use again and in my industry we use legal teams frequently. These will not ever be one of them.

The branch I used was 17 Allerton Road, Liverpool:
Absolutely awful communication from this solicitor to the point that I nearly lost my house! At one point when I phoned as things where getting very stressful in this purchase that should have been very straight forward I was told by the secretary 'we'll she's busy with other cases at the moment'! Wrong attitude.
The whole purchase was held up by in my opinion incompetence but the main problem was the lack of communication. I would not recommend this solicitor.

Poor service, slow full of mistakes and lack of clarity. Would not recommend. They get one star because you have to select at least one.

I am appalled by the poor service I have had from MSB. It started off very well but once I had paid and was coming to the end of my claim it has dragged on with error after error, broken promises to email me responses to my questions and updates on progress or lack of with my case and still no resolution. I will definitely avoid using MSB again. I am happy to put my name forward but I am unfortunately still a client and dread to think how I would be treated then if I did.
