Sale of 12 Kempton Park Road, BR36 - all legal work from initial sale through to completion on 15/10/2025. Despite a number of setbacks we had which lengthened the process by a number of months, Yvonne and her team were always 'on the ball', kept us informed and let us know where the 'roadblocks' were acted upon with speed and practicality.
As joint executor on the sale of this estate, I have to say, for my part, dealing with Davisons was painless, helpful, professional and to be recommended. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them on to others and/or use their services again if the need arises again/in future.

Fearn, Eliza and Jamie have been ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC from start to finish during the sale of my mum’s house in Birmingham and purchase of her new bungalow in Cornwall. Making this move at nearly 80 years old has been tremendously stressful for her, but having the constant support and patience of Fearn, Jamie and Eliza has been priceless.. emails and telephone calls have always been responded to immediately …. we just cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone we know without doubt.

Kieren and Alex supported us through the sale of our previous property in Moreton-in-Marsh and the purchase of our new property in Chipping Campden. This was our first time selling a property and it had been quite a few years since we purchased our last one, so we had many questions. Both Kieren and Alex were incredibly helpful all the way through to answer questions about our new property, which required a lot of attention.

When we appointed sue we was a month behinde first house in chain. Sue was actually the first solitor to complete and get to exchange . And pushed the restbof the chain forward especially as she manged to exchange and complete same day . We was 4th in a chain of 5 and had access to new property by 2.15 pm . Thank you sue

Emma was an exceptional solicitor; she had a keen attention to detail and a superb willingness to help our every request.

The whole process with sales and purchase went without any major issues in a timely manner. We would happily recommend her services.

If there was an improvement to be made, perhaps the initial administration and information gathering on our finances for the purpose of money laundering could have been a bit more streamlined. For example, despite handing our financials and statements to the admin team at the very beginning of the process, we were told near the crucial exchange date that many of the accounts we previously disclosed were not ready to accept our funds. This ultimately resulted in miscommunication about how much funds had been received from us, leading us to believe £25k had gone missing. Although on this occasion, this did not cause delay - it could very well have caused a block in the chain too.

It was a long process from selling the house to moving but I was well informed all the way through. It was further complicated due to my divorce proceedings but everyone was empathetic and understanding.
I received a response almost immediately when ever I contacted Claire., Natalie it Yvonne and the response was always positive and reassuring.

ue Smith acted on behalf of Tracy Wood for our (my wife & I) first home purchase in Ashford, Kent.

Although we had never spoken on the phone with Sue until exchange, Sue & Tracy (and the rest of the team) were amazing from start to finish. Sue was always available to talk, incredibly responsive, patient, and consistently showed perseverance. She worked closely with us, keeping us informed and explained the conveyancing process when we were unsure. Sue's communication and dedication truly stood out, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring.

Our journey:
As first-time buyers, we were unsure about handling everything, so Connells referred us to Davisons Law. We instructed Davisons in mid to end of November 2024 and this decision led to a streamlined and efficient process, with exchange expected by the end of February 2025—remarkably quick given the Christmas holidays.

However, we hit an unexpected bottleneck that could have delayed things by months. Sue liaised with Connells and the sellers' solicitor to resolve what could have taken months, and we completed before the 31 March 2025 stamp duty change deadline. Sue's experience and swift action to instruct our lenders to release the funds well in advance, and even responding to us in the evenings and weekends during the busy period made the impossible, possible.

We highly recommend Davisons Law, in particular Sue and Tracy - 5 star team!

My family have used the Weoley Castle branch for a variety of different reasons in the past, and we are always very impressed with the services they offer, not just conveyancing etc.

I feel I must make an extra special mention to Sue Smith who has been on the ball from start to finish, she replies to emails swiftly and I honestly believe without her the whole process would have taken longer, she has really impressed me.

We used Davison’s for our first home purchase and decided to come back again for our S&P service this time. We were really happy with the service that we received. The whole paperwork process was very smooth and straight forward.

From the outset, Sue Smith gave a professional, yet personable service, confident with her responses to initial queries.

Communication was good, regular and in plain English so we were aware of what was happening and/or about to be done.
Sue went above and beyond to get a separate house sale, being dealt with by another Solicitor, to coincide with completion for both; this was done with tact and diplomacy in directing the 'other Solicitor' to a positive transaction of funds. Sue, also took time whilst on her holiday to make contact with us to confirm Purchase and Completion, this just confirmed her commitment to us as her Clients.

Tracy Wood the named Solicitor was equally good with telephone communications, advice and direction when needed.

Brilliant from start to finish. Sue and Tracy always kept me updated and responded to any queries within a matter of hours.

The process couldn't have been made any easier and without a mess up from the mortgage lender (nothing of Davison's fault) it would have all been completed really quicky in a matter of weeks.

Sue explained the entire process to me in a manner which helped simplify things for me and thus made the whole process easy to navigate.

Sarah Alcock was a joy to work with, she kept me updated as much as possible and kept me calm. She is a genuinly lovely person and we had really great conversations and laughed together which makes a super stressful situation easier to bear!

I am very happy with the service and would recommend Davisons and Sarah. Sarah also picked up an issue which would have caused a huge problem and saved me, even with the delivery of bad news, she ensured that I was supported! During the final few weeks/days, Sarah would contact me late in the evenings thus showing her commitment to get the job done regardless of the time. I always appreciated hearing from Sarah and I respect the work she does!

Thank you so much for helping me through the sale of my flat and purchase of me new home and Sarah, I hope I didn't make your ears bleed with my shatteringly loud scream of joy over the phone on completion day!

Mainly I have communicated with Sue Smith.
Sue was very professional but at the same friendly and polite. She certainly had lots of patience answering my questions.

My father used Davisons for a property purchase and sale 10 years ago and I saw no reason to use another unknown company or shop around for cheaper quotes for selling his property this time. The service was as expected and the charges were in line with the initial quote. It would be impossible to rate your service as outstanding or poor without a comparison with a similar service carried out by another company. Any contact that was necessary was dealt with promptly and efficiently and the sale went ahead without any unacceptable issues. Thus overall I am happy with the service provided.

We were generally pleased with the service provided ( a sale and purchase) - we were able to get prompt responses to enquiries either by phone or email. We felt that better use of the portal to provide an update on progress may have saved time for all concerned.
Receiving documentation by Royal Mail was a problem as this invariably takes longer than anticipated and therefore slows things down. Much of the documentation could have been sent electronically saving time.

Sarah took over the management of my house sale from another colleague / office and I cannot fault the service she provided. Sarah always kept me up to date with what was going on, answered my questions and email promptly, continually chased down outstanding queries with third parties and ensured we got to the end result with as little stress as possible. Tracy and her fab assistant Sue dealt with both the sale of our old property and the purchase of our lovely peaceful new one on the South Coast.

Given that we completed on Monday 28th June 2021 both ladies must have been under enormous pressure to deliver to all clients hoping to complete before the stamp duty holiday deadline. However, they achieved this in good time, coping with our somewhat challenging buyer’s solicitor and maintained their sense of humour throughout.

I was recommended to QualitySolicitors by our estate agent and would certainly recommend to other prospective buyers/sellers.

Selling a property during a pandemic is hard enough but I received a Breast Cancer diagnosis in December and so had this to contend with on top of everything else. had a case and i could lose my house because if i lost that case
visited many solicitor's firms and almost every single of them had no hope that i could wine
then i was refer to Mr, Sadiq in '' QualitySolicitors Davisons '' then he was confidence that he could do
honestly talking , it which was kind of light in complete darkness and I remember, had tier in my eyes when he said '' No Worries , we will turn table '' and he did it !!!
the case was very lengthy case but after 6 years finally Mr. Sadiq could grant the case in my favor through the court proceeding
i can not be enough thankful to Mr. Sadiq because of what he did , it was hell of a lot for
whoever read this review , please have great fiat in these guys they are very very sharp and bang on solicitor they will deliver of what they say and even they give more back that they say or promise

I'm struggling at the moment with Quality Davisons in Weoley Castle. I am not getting through to anyone every time I try to call. I've left answerphone messages and sent emails, but am just not getting responded to. The buyers of my property are getting extremely frustrated, and I'm concerned that they are going to pull out. This sale should be relatively simple (other than the initial delays due to my house being leasehold and the management company being slow at responding initially). There is no chain and the buyers are first time buyers, but despite this it's taking a significantly long time to move forward. I returned my contract on the 18th January and still have no heard anything further (despite multiple attempts to speak to someone on my part). Track a matter is something that they've said needs to be paid for but it is never updated.

I completely understand the challenging situation that people are having to work in with the pandemic and disruption this is causing, alongside how busy the housing market is right now, but I am very disappointed in the service I've received. The complete lack of response to any enquiry I have sent is not good enough, especially considering when I signed up the initial pack sent out shared that someone would respond within 24-48 hours. My experience so far has made me wish that I hadn't also signed up to use Davison's for my next purchase as this has not been a good experience.

I was recommended QS Davison Weoley Castle branch by my estate agent and I would say they are very poor and incompetent. It has been the worst experience! It has taken them over 6months and still I'm yet to complete due to poor or total lack of communication. Tracy Wood sat on the documents with no contact. Emailing to wrong addresses and not checking up on phone if we have received the documents or not. Delayed the process at the beginning by 4 weeks and a further 4 weeks towards the end after realising the searches hadn't been kicked off! Overall experience was bad and I would avoid QS Davison! Other reviews on Trustapilot and Facebook are more accurate for QS Davison (at least for Weoley Castle branch). Please avoid!
