Maria is superb, we used Davisons Law because that’s where Maria was - I actually found where she had moved to as she was the only solicitor I wanted to deal with the sale of our home. She is the only solicitor I will use going forward as well. Communication is faultless, she is so efficient and a pleasure to work with.

I am highly delighted in the service that I received from Davisons Law.
I needed a LPA doing and had tried doing it online. I contacted Davisons Law office in Cotteridge. I met with Gemma Colgan, who was to handle my case.
Everything was explained to me in simple language and I decided to go ahead with the process. The staff were very knowledgeable and kept me informed about everything. The whole process took about 20-24 weeks due to registering with and waiting the appropriate amount of time.
I would highly recommend the services of Davisons Law to anyone who needs professional advice and assistance.

As executor of a relative’s will, I used Jane to do the Conveyancing. She was extremely efficient and helpful. When my buyers wanted to exchange and complete within 24 hours with no prior warning, she pulled out all the stops to make this happen!

Maria is very courteous with good customer relations. The service I received is top notch as I was given prompt up to date information on the process until the final completion date. Davison solicitors can boast of competent professionals and have recommended to me my broker is not fluke.
I will in any recommend same to anyone who need a service at least on a mortgage acquisition.

Our sale was not straight forward with flying freeholds, leasehold and absent freehold to name a few obstacles but Nisha, Kirsty and their team stayed the course and got it completed in time for Christmas. Nisha also queried an early repayment charge by our lender which led to its removal saving me £1000's

We received a very professional and understanding service from Nisha Kainth. She was able to undertake 2 properties that originally began with a different solicitors firm. When this chain was aborted, due to the other firms delays, she was able to begin another purchase, deal with the original sale and exchange and complete the new purchase in under 4 weeks. This level of professionalism should be a marker for other conveyancers. My family and I have purchased many properties and even when purchasing with cash we have completed between 6 and 8 weeks. Because of our experience we will be highly recommending your firm and especially Nisha Kainth. It was a pleasure working with Her.

Without wanting to write an essay... GDPR breaches, penalty charges from HMRC over 2 months after completion due to their incompetence , rarely returned calls/emails etc. (all of which can be backed up with factual evidence)

Wouldn't use them ever again for anything, and will steer friends and family away as best I can.

Two solicitors acted for me and my family - Tracey Salt dealt with my late son’s estate and Gemma Lloyd dealt with this ale of my house, my daughter’s house and the purchase of our new house!!!
The Letters old Administration were obtained by Tracey with minimal fuss and it couldn’t have been easier for me, despite the distressing circumstances!!!
The house sales and purchase were another matter entirely - due to no fault of Gemma, the other parties solicitors made the process far more difficult than it need have been and Gemma and her colleagues went above and beyond, to bring it to a successful conclusion, despite all the apparent obstacles that appeared as the process went on and on!!!
All the staff involved worked tirelessly on our behalf and I’d recommend their services to anybody!!

Service was brilliant and we were incredibly grateful that the purchase completed in line with the end of our tenancy as requested.
The only tiny criticism we might have is the frequency/level of detail of the updates - the track a matter portal didn't really update that much during the process, and we did have to chase for progress updates a couple of times (probably just being first time buyers and being a bit clueless/anxious).
I want to stress that is a tiny criticism though and we are 99.99999% happy with the service we received, so thank you!

Lasting power of attorney.
Tracey gave good advice and was very approachable.
Parts of our form were mislayed which resulted in delays.
When we came to collect the lasting power of attorneys one person wasn't allowed to collect them both, despite only one letter being sent to us. This created quite a waste of time for us as we had moved to a property a fairly long way away

Due to a family bereavement in Birmingham we required a firm of solicitors to deal with probate and conveyance matters. Found Quality Solicitors Davisons on the internet and we're glad we did so. Jane and Gemma were brilliant at keeping us updated throughout. Buying a house during covid as first time buyers felt like a really daunting prospect but everyone worked really hard to keep things moving, we always knew what the next step was and any questions we had were answered quickly. Although Gavin was the lawyer, it was Sarah Coldicott who got us over the line in what turned out to be a slightly fraught and protracted process, and it was the actions of Sarah, Louise and Chloe (with help from others in the office there) that gave it the final push required. This was despite various hurdles put in our way by parties and elements outside of our/Davisons' control, mostly down to our seller's estate agents and solicitors and a complex and badly-handled overage agreement on their purchase. Really appreciate all your hard work and friendly service, which was invaluable in those last few weeks; you definitely earned your money, and I don't think I've said that about many conveyancers in the past! Thanks again

The service we had dealing with Fearn was excellent, Fearn kept us update d at every stage of the process of selling our Flat.
Fearn made each stage very easy to understand and chased / pushed for all information when needed from 3rd party companies.

Our estate agent ( Wilkins) referred us to Davisons to manage the sale of our property. Becky Bradshaw and her assistant Jo Boucher were our contacts. From the start Jo was ‘on the case’ with a draft contract drawn up within three weeks. Communication was excellent. Emails were responded to within minutes and Becky kept us informed when Jo was out of the office. We must also give a special mention to Jo for her patience when dealing with a very difficult mortgage company. Davisons provided an unparalleled experience in my opinion and I hope to use them again in the future when we purchase our next property.

Landlord and Tenant dispute. Well, where do I start, it has been a long journey thus far and we can finally see the light at the end of this tunnel. The tenant living in our property had not paid any rent payments for 9 months and we were hitting our head against the brick wall with no help from the managing agent. We were going through the legal aid process and served our notices to the tenant. Thankfully Lisa and the team were able to step in at such a crucial time with our court date coming and they were able to help and guide us to a possession order at the court hearing. I can’t thank Lisa & her team enough for their help and ongoing support with this matter. All being well we should have our property back and we can move on with our lives. 5 Star service.

A big thank you to Lauren Hylton for all her help and support throughout the process.

She was attentive and quick to respond to all of our queries. Always giving us the information we needed - in a simple and informative manor which can be difficult with a lot of legal jargon we didn't understand.

This is the second transaction I have completed with Becky and she really is a credit to your company.

Shes very supportive, explaining things along the way as required and the transaction was completed smoothly and efficiently which is what you want when making such a big purchase and during what can be an extremely stressful period.

I selected Davisons Law for their conveyance service after canvasing several solicitors in and around the West Midlands regarding new build purchase.

I was sold on their satisfaction surveys, price transparency and their locality.

From the initial call to enquire about the service, granular cost breakdown quote after explaining my circumstances, through the property purchase process, and finally completion, Simran was very professional and reassuring throughout, and was very punctual in responding to my questions.

Am I satisfied with the their conveyance service? Yes.

Would I use Davisons Law again in the future? Yes.

Would I recommend them to family, friends and colleagues? Yes.

I initially felt that I was not being responded to by Davisons and they were not driving the process with developer or keeping me informed of the project. However, once Simran was assigned to my case everything improved dramatically and she was instrumental in closing the deal with the developer within my mortgage offer window.

Pleased to say that this was the first time I have used a Solicitor where I could really feel I was being looked after and that they on my side to ensure my case went through as smoothly as possible. This includes chasing other parties and keeping me in the loop. Sunaul in particular was very good and worked late to ensure that my re mortgage went through.

My flat was sold in August 2020. The buyers solicitor had asked for a retention of £300 to cover the (unlikely) eventuality of the service charges (for the period of my occupancy) being revised upwards. I left it for quite as while and started asking if my money could be released to me on 22nd March 2021. I still haven't received it and have today (6th September 2021) raised a formal complaint.

Lisa Shocker was fantastic and very prompt in assisting and seeing to completion a boundary dispute between my neighbour and I. She approached the dispute in such a way that was tailored to the needs of both me and the neighbour creating a positive environment which led to a successful agreement.
