Really bad. Never reply and don’t inform you.
Complaints are dealt with the same way and had to chase the complaints department several times for a reply. They gave me a new case worker a couple of times and I think a few of them left the company.
They are just looking after themselves and have no care for you as a customer at all!
They write they can’t give you advice on whether to take the offer and ask you to call them. When you call them, they tell you to take the offer!
They didn’t send my examinations results to the other solicitors/insurance company in time. Delayed things and then tried to charge me for stuff that I had paid for myself!
Useless in every sense.

I have been awaiting my ownership documents since Feb 2020 (now May 2021) and cannot ever get through to anyone. Any email contacts Im given are found to have left the business (this has happened 5 times). I cannot get through to anyone, no-one will respond. Ive not been able to submit urgent planning permission because of this.

Awful customer service made it incredibly hard to get thru to anyone. Completely mislead over what they charge etc in the end they ended up taking nearly 70% of the claim pay out honestly fee like I would have been better off handling it myself would very strongly recommend against using this company

- Please do not use Slater Gordon -
The service I received has been appauling. They take around 4-5 weeks to respond to basic emails and questions. They also didn't respond to the vendors solicitors questions.
I like paying 3 times the orignal quoted amount whilst also having to manage your own case then they're the law firm for you.
I implore anyone thinking of using them to go elsewhere!!

My case with Slater & Gordon was marred by delays, inaccurate record-keeping, high staff turnover and a shocking level of either disinterest or flat-out incompetence. I was a client of SG for about six months during 2017 and during this time I had to explain my case to four different solicitors, who apparently had no awareness of any previous interaction - but were happy to keep billing me for the time I spent briefing them on the case. The delays led to escalation of my case, which nearly ended up in Court as a result of their incompetence. Once I transferred the case to another solicitor, it was swiftly resolved within 2 weeks (and no further handovers!). After the case was concluded, I complained to their customer service department (another three people have left the firm since they started processing my complaint!) and they offered me a "reduced" payment of nearly 1.5 times my bill! I then asked them to produced a detailed breakdown of activities carried out, which I am entitled to under the Data Protection Act - and they simply ignored it!
A Kafkaesque nightmare so absurd it would border on comical if it wasn't because the very real cost of their lack of professionalism.

LAWYER DID NOT SHOW UP & NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AVOID!!!
I prepaid over £200 for an appointment with their Family Law department in London. Not only the lawyer did not show up at all at our appointment, but during a very long wait there was no communication at all on where she was, and nobody from the department showed up at all to give an explanation. I had to leave at some point obviously, when I left absolutely nobody apologized and I later received an appalling half excuse with a 2 line email!!! I called the firm 4 times to complain and discuss what happened, it is utterly impossible to talk to anybody about this, they do not care about their clients at all - there is no customer service, all they did when I called the contact number was put me on hold for ages without anybody answering again, or saying "someone will call you back" without actually anybody ever calling me back, or saying "sorry I cannot hear you please call back" after a long phone wait!!! I still have not got my money back either. I cannot stress how appallingly bad my experience has been with Slater & Gordon, I strongly recommend steering clear from this firm - they will not care about you in the least, if you want someone who cares, go somewhere else.

Absolutely useless service if you can even get one. Let me down badly. They ignore, have little idea, and decide if they can be ( bothered ) to look into your case. I am aware of a number of very serious cases, some involving vulnerable people, that this firm would not assist in. This is a typical firm who look for easy cases of damages, when you learn that they have meetings just to discuss new cases and if they are cost affective to take on, you realise what many of these compensation firms are all about.
Do not waste your time with this heartless lot.

I totally agree! They seem very badly organized. You need to speak to five people (always answering the same questions over and over again) before you get any kind of information, especially when you go through their switchboard. I was held on the phone from abroad for over 25 minutes, before they could give me a simple answer.....

Completely agree! It looks like they have very aggressive business development tactics but once they get your money they could not care less....

They will not quote you upfront for a piece of work. if they do quote you, they will not stick to the quote and you will always pay significantly more than you expected - usually double!
They quoted me £2k and charged £6k for a standard piece of debt collection.
They use partners for everything, never juniors and you have no realistic way to contest their bills. beware!

Their service is appeared good to start with, and after a while started the overcharging, After being billed about £25,000 (bills always seemed to arrive just prior to important events) I was driven to despair. I dreaded sending them anything as there would be a charge for reading an email, another charge for replying. I ended up sending very short (single sentence replies) as they charge by the length of email. I ended up drafting entire letters but still got charged about £600 for a letter. They drafted a witness statement which was laughable, the facts back to front and I ended up writing it myself completly. I still got charged about £1000 to read it and their professional contribution was to add a few commas.
They omitted to send important documents which prejudiced me. They had the cheek to blame me for not reminding them when it was me that asked for it to be sent in the first place. I even got billed for being sent the Invoice. I could go on.
I would say, find a "one man band solicitor" rather than go to Pannone all they showed me was that they were interested in my money not winning the case. Stuart Irons was the guy I got. Never again.

Sam Livesey’s attitude is excellent and she is always looking for solutions to any legal problem. Everything that Sam has done has been great. That is why I chose Pannone to be our company solicitors when I first started with NCA

I have found Sam Livesey to be very good – she gives us just the right level of support. She is great at judging what is needed at the time which is very important to us when we are considering the impact of legal fees. She is excellent at pitching her advice with just the right amount of detail for us
