Exwife used this firm. No attempt made or suggestions by my solicitor to settle case agreed. Firm obviously is driven by making as much money out of clients as possible rather considering the individual. Average costs of £k35 for each party. Although they might be good squeezing every drop but they don’t consider what it does to children, mental health and finances as long as they made their share.

After a very complicated multi jurisdiction divorce that had been running for 3 years i switched to SFL. I had an initial meeting with Jemma Slavin and was filled with confidence in her ability and knowledge immediately. Jemma was extremely thorough in bringing matters to a conclusion using all tools at her disposal. I was kept fully informed as well as being asked for my own opinion on each course of action taken along the way. From my own experience i can only say that i would recommend both Jemma and SFL in dealing with anything other than straight forward family law. Finally a huge thank you Jemma for expeditiously bringing matters to a successful conclusion.

Correct- using ALL tools without hesitation. Separating partners will never talk to each other again as a consequence of J actions. I can only congratulate this extremely professional behaviour.

I contacted stow family law after I had separated from my parter of 12yrs. She had walked out and left me to look after my 6yr old son who I totally adored and had devoted my life too, 8mths later i was taken to court by my ex partner over my son, so I turned to stow family law for help. Jemma, Rachael and the team where there for me from the first time I met them untill my case was settled in court and supported me constantly through a very tough and emotional time that lasted for over a year, they were always there to help and I couldnt of got through this without them.
My heart goes out to Jemma, Rachael and the team at STOW FAMILY LAW.

I will be forever grateful for what Jemma Slavin and her team in Bristol have done for me and my children. Jemma is a top-class Lawyer that really knows her stuff. She is professional, personable, quick to respond and above all always knew what the right legal advice was, and she was always 1 step ahead of my husband’s Lawyer. It is thanks to her legal advice and persistence that gave me and my children a better outcome then I could ever have imagined. But most importantly my children can now continue their life growing up with the right support and living in the area familiar to them and close to their school and friends.
Could not recommend Stowe enough, they are amazing!

I was advised to use Jemma Slavin at Stowe whilst going through an extremely difficult and lengthy divorce. Jemma was amazing. Jemma gave brilliant advice, was able to set my mind at ease when difficult situations arose and more than anything was totally approachable and available like a friend if ever I was struggling. My divorce was a very bitter one however I felt in completely safe hands and comforted by the fact that I knew I had the best representation I could get. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jemma to anyone needing a family lawyer. I am out the other side now and cannot thank Jemma and her team enough for such great support, professionalism and basically getting me the result I hoped for.
